Is 50-60W IR light enough

I’ve seen people talking about 100-250W IR lights. I’ve found only 50-60W lights in Finland. Those lights are meant for pets (turtles mainly). Are they any good for PE purposes?

After buying a 150w today, my opinion is no.

Well, if your light is 3 times less powerful than mine, then I would imagine it would take alot longer to warm your dick up. And, I don’t know anything about IR waves, but it may not penetrate your penis as deep. I’ll let others agree or disagree with that.

If that’s all you can get, fine get it, but why can’t you get a more powerful one? Have you tried Ebay?

I too think that 150 watts are the minimum, unless the 50-60W ray is a real spot, but then you’d have to be totally still in front of it. Go for 150 W.

i use the 60 watt bulb while hanging and it seems to work fine. also , if that is all you can find then i am sure

it is better than nothing.

You could buy two of the 50-60 Watt bulbs, and set them up to shine on each sid of your penis. Which, in effect, would be better than a single lamp that can only shine on one side.

You might have to use a bit of ingenuity, like setting them on a board so that they stay in position, But that should not be too difficult.

Being a lower wattage it would be necessary to have them a shorter distance from your body. But you would have to do that by trial and error; and follow the general guideline and not have the heat uncomfortably hot on your skin.

You would have to set them up in parallel - both pluggeed into the electric power socket individually, which would give you the full power from the lamps.

Btw, what kind of sockets you got for your IR lights? Can you put IR light into normal night lamp for example?

That’s almost like a ‘How long is a piece of string question.

At 230 volt mains supply the current is only about 0.3 amp so a 3 amp fuse would be more than adequate. (at 110 volts the current would be about 0.6 amp

You must check what it says on the night lamp. there should be some indication. At a guess it woiuld be about 15 watt lamp recommended simply because you wouldn’t want too much light. Providing it doesn’t have any ‘soft’ plastic which could melt it might be OK for relatively short periods ie not all night.

It also depends on the size of the IR bulb. Most of the high wattage are faily large. The 150 watt bulb on mine is about 6” 15cms (They are usually more robust than normal light bulbs)

I don’t know what the bulbs you are going to use look like, but they might not be an all red glow, so you might need to protect your eyes from the glare.

As you see without having a view of the lamp it’s difficult to be more precise.
