Hello everybody,

OK, so here’s my question. Does the speed in which you jelq really have an effect on the gains you may experience? Say doing a jelq a second instead of every 2.5 - 4 seconds. Any opinions out there? If you view this and have any input what-so-ever or just want to post how fast you do your jelqing, PLEASE DO! This could be an interesting viewing.

Also, does anyone highly recommend any exercises that will increase the size of your head? I don’t remember what it’s called that I’m doing, but I start out by becoming semi-hard, grab my base with a death grip and relax it only to pump blood in until my head becomes much larger than usual. This is the only exercise I’m doing for my head and would like to know if anyone has experienced gains for your head just from this exercise, or no gains for that matter and any recommendations for a good exercise instead of this one. My opinion: slower is better than faster. Firmer is better than looser.
Slow, firm gives best gain.

I agree with Oden, slower strokes will put more intensity on the various parts of the penis because there is more amount of time for the tissues to stretch under said given pressure.

What you are doing to increase head size I guess would be the manual equivalent of clamping or wearing a cock ring.

If while gripping at the base with one hand you squeeze the shaft or just below the head with the other hand, you magnify the effect even further, but use caution when doing this as the internal pressures can exceed your limitations. And to quote Dirty Harry, a man has got to know his limitations.

From what I read the head is the most difficult to increase in size, I’ve gotten some increase from hanging.

But I don’t plan on spending any time exclusively on the head until I have already reached the size I want.(or hit a major plateau and need something else to try.)

Hmm.. I guess slow is the best way to go. I personally take about 3 seconds for each stroke. When I first started jelqing I would feel sore afterwards and not be able to get an erection for about at least 2 or 3 hours afterwards and I could still feel it the next day; however, now I do not feel sore at all and have no trouble getting an erection. I’ve been increasing my time and all but it’s not like it was in the beginning. Sigh, I liked the beginning better because the soreness actually made me think and feel like I was getting something out of it. Oh well I guess, just waiting for some gains to come along my way. Soreness isn’t necessary for gains, I thought that in the beginning, but less is more with PE.

I mix up the speed of my Jelqing as well as my grip. So far it looks like a slow Jelq is the way to go, interesting..

I think that slow jelqing really works your dick and will likely give you the best overall workout. However, I made the best length gains when I did faster jelqs. Then again, I lost some of the girth I gained so I stopped.

I do slow jelqs myself, they seem to give a better girth workout. I would agree with JoeCool about fast jelqs giving more length.

Personally I don’t think speed or erection level during a jelq will result in specific gains in either girth or length.
The penis is going to expand the way the tissues happen to give. I think people make a gain, and then think the specific way they jelqed was targeting
something specific.

Here’s what I think:
1)Stretching and hanging are almost exclusively length producing, with maybe some base girth gain.
2)Jelqing, clamping, pumping are primarily girth oriented, though length gains are possible if the tissues happen to have more give in that direction.
Remember that your jelq is also stretching as you pull it forward.

Do what feels best for yourself is the best advice anyone can give on this.

I always start fast and loose, then at the end I do some firmer, slower ones if I feel ready for it. I try encourage growth, not force it.
