Kegeling and stopping ejaculation during sex

Hi guys, I have a question regarding kegeling.

I know some of you practice this technique to hold off ejaculations during sex when you’re at the point of cumming. However, is this practice safe? I mean, where does the semen go after you hold it off. Doesn’t it get push back and stuck in the sementic cord or something? And if you keep doing this a few more times, won’t all the semen get trapped in the sementic cord and build up and cause some sort of damage? Let me know what you guys think. I’ve been wanting to practice this for a while, but would want to find out if it’s save or not to do so first before I proceed.
