knife vs hand

Gentlemen:

I’ve been on this site for a little over a week and have learned quite a bit - wish it had been 30 years ago.

On the average most of you have gained about 2” over a period of 14 - 20 months. What I’m wondering is if you can get about the same gains - nothing guranteed - from surgery, which is immediate, why not go the surgery route? I know several years ago it was considered very risky (I do know by cutting the ligs, your erection stands out rather than up, which I’m not sure is a problem). Does anyone have an update on the surgery and has anyone out there had it or know of anyone who has?

Thanks very much for your feedback, Glenn

Don't do It

I have seen some of the surgical results and for the most part they have been devastating. The men who get the surgery done do not gain length, they just have their suspensory lig. cut and it makes the penis appear to hang lower in the flaccid state. Most of the men have to do hanging exercises following the surgery to get their penis to extend longer. The surgery is no cure for the small penis. Jelqing, stretching and squeezing are the only known cures and it takes time, time, and more time. The gains come slowly and the primary ingredients are total focus, attention and above all a lot of patience. Stick with the exercises and you will see gains. And above all stay away from the knife. I read where one of the so called surgeons had his practice shut down in California. He apparantly was sued by several of his unhappy gentlemen clients who ended up with less than they started with. This is not fun. So stay with the exercises and remain totally comitted. There are a lot of men on this site with the same issues and we have and continue to provide a support system that works.

Thanks, uc, sorry I can’t get into the chatroom site. Yes, I have heard some rather disressing stories re: surgery when they first started doing it, but I had hoped some advances would have been made by now. I guess if they had, we wouldn’t need this site though.

No easy way out, is there?

I will try again to get on the chat site, but I ain’t real good at this computer stuff as Thunder SS will attest.

I apprecate your advice, Glenn

Glenn,

While surgery has improved there a still plenty of doctors out there using less than acceptable techniques - things can and do go wrong. No doctor will guarantee you any gains and there’s the whole erection angle and instability of the penis during intercourse issues that have to be taken into account. Surgery, IMO, should really only be considered as a last resort. You must also consider that when you have surgery your doctor will insist that you undertake a PE program for a minimum of 6 months to consolidate surgical gains - fail to do this and you may end up with a penis that is even shorter than when you started. So why not (excuse the pun) cut out the middle man? Try PE for 6 months and see if it works for you - if you want a larger penis you’re going to have to do it any way. And who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised!

Hi lil1:

I’ve pretty much decided I’m gonna try the hand method. Will keep you abreast (I know what you’re thinking).

Thanks,

Glenn

Glenn;

I have a 90 degree-er; parallel to the floor; always have had one. Never a problem with sex because it has some resilience to angle up. But, hold off on the surgery. As lil told you, this surgery has many relatively inexperienced surgeons doing it. (It’s about $.) In the same time it would take you to hang after surgery, you may be able to get where you want to be without surgery, just following a sensible PE program.

Surgery

Lil and Avocet:

Thasnks very much for the advice - I’m taking it (the advice). My son just called last nite regarding some cosmetic surgery he just had and apparently it has not gone well. Of course, the fact that he’s a bit paranoid and thinks everyone is looking at him, probably comes into play here. In fact, I’m flying out to Dallas today to pick him up. So this subject has come up at a very apropos time.

Take Care, Glenn
