Well I just got done doing my routine now a new one.
10-15 mins wrap
10-15 intense jelq. with flexing of abs and the muscle below the shaft to help you blow harder(sry i forget the name of it) but i do this while i jelq.

anyway i got out of the shower and was doing some manual casual stretching and when i strected down to the floor i heard a pop. I know its a lig pop but this happened before to about a month ago. Is it a good thing or bad? Will it help in results or just nothing at all? Thanks for the responses.

PS. Someone mentioned this routine on this board so I’m not taking credit for it just testing.

It has never happened to me but the “pop” is commonly reported and as long as it is not accompanied by pain there seems to be no worries about it.

I’ve had that lig pop before with no pain or something. Don’t worry. I guess is one of the stages the lig goes during its workout lifetime.


Present: 8.75" BPEL, 9.25" BPSFL, 5.3" EG

Goal: 1' BPEL, 6.5" EG

When I first joined Thunders a lot of vet’s talked about lig pops, it was actually considered a ‘good sign’. While I’m not entirely sure about that, like luvdadus said if there was no accompanying pain then you should be good to go. I don’t remember any particular threads that associated lig pops with negative PE or injury.


Posting 'newbie' but 2+ year lurker and PEer.

Start: ~6" BPEL, ~5" MSEG (If I remember correctly) Now: 7.25" BPEL, 5.25" MSEG (After an 8 month break) GOAL: I'll be finished when I'm done.

Good or bad, I wouldn’t like to hear that. Two of my friends experienced it and I gave them that blank stare.. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want to mess with the ligaments.

Never had a lig pop personally (despite stretching quite hard), so can’t really say. Some say it’s good, some don’t. Seems a pretty neutral PI as long as there is no pain, like luvdadus said.

If you’re doing PE, you’re are messing with the ligaments. Some of your gains will result from stretching the ligaments in the groin area. I do agree however that I’m not necessarily ‘aiming’ for lig pops. I’ve had a few light ones, but nothing major.
