Liquid Latex?

I’ll share a couple thoughts on this,

When I’d started designing the VacExtender, I’ve actually went with this route - basically a condom (like closed end sealing sleeve) with a hook attachment (stronger silicone). While the idea sounded great, in reality, it didn’t work out. The main problem was that it stretched the head but not the shaft (as much we needed for our purpose). As pressure was applied (or pulled), the head of the penis was stretched as silicone contracted and stretched. This was the main reason for the plastic cylinder, to avoid the head stretching (and it wasn’t good head stretching either as when silicone was getting thinner (from pulled force), so did the head. The final result was thinned and stretched head, without the benefit of any feeling toward the shaft. I’m still playing with this version, but it not going too good. I could re-inforced area around the head (so that it doesn’t get thinner and only stretch the head) but production proved to be too difficult (mixing chemical during cure time don’t work well).

As for latex - some people are allergic to some types of latex (depending on chemical makeup), but majority of people do not. However, latex is not a good candidate as durometer/elasticity is not as great compared to a silicone (which also don’t have the allegic property). Simply, its too hard or too brittle to stretch.

I agree with MB, I started down this same path and found it wasn’t practical.

If we were talking about your forearm, perhaps, but not the penis. It’s a problem like a balloon, you compress one side and the other side pushes out.

Such was the case with this idea, every compromise created another problem.

Also, I’m not sure you want latex on your skin for many hours at a time. Seems like I read somewhere that you can develop an “allergy” of sorts from prolonged exposure.

I’m doing better, just took some time off and came back yesterday. I’m still weak, but I’m now able to function fairly well. According to my doc, it will take several months to shake it off. I’m now doing natural medicine to buildup my immune system from taking antibiotic for so long (which kills both good and bad). If I get a flu, I’m a goner for sure.

Glad to hear your doing better monkey bar. On the liquid latex note, I recieved 16oz of Maximum Impact’s all natural liquid latex body cosmetic today. Ingredients say water, 100% virgin latex, 2% ammonia added as a stabilizer and preservative. The ammonia I thought may be a concern, when I first opened the bottle it was faint but noticeable. Directions say after 5-10 minutes to dry, the ammonia smell goes away.

My first experiment with this will be applying it to an ace bandage wrap while not stretched out and to see if it helps with comfort on my traction device. I think the goal I am going for is, to be able to have my penis held in the device, with out having to clamp it in too much. I’ll probably post again tomorrow night with the initial results of this.

Yes, the smell is so bad, the latex itself dries within hours, the ammonia keeps the latex in liquid state, and when it evaporate, the latex dries and cure. Since it is a natural material, it will decay without properly ovened, but you already have the body cosmetic latex, which is already modified, so I don’t you will have such problem.

I have tried to pour on the Captn’s Wrench device to replace the rubber, it works well.

Not to hijack this thread but have you ever thought to use your large silicone sleeve as an all day or extended wrap? It is thick and rigid enough to hold an extended flaccid without your unit pulling out. I only wish you made them a bit longer. This is seperate from the vac extender in that you can wear the silicone sleeve by itself.

There is another recent thread floating around here (I’m too lazy to search for it), where someone stated doing exactly what you described. I’ll do some looking and see if I can come up with a link.

Actually I’m testing 2 new products to do just that plus bit more. The 1st one I’m working on is AutoADS v2 and the 2nd one - is for anti-turtle/light ADS type.

In interest of this thread,

There are already couple of users that do use the large silicone sleeve for that function. They cut it to size and I guess it works well for them. However, I wanted something little more than the existing sleeve provides - in that I wanted little more tension (we’re talking about little more than static tension compared to sleeve). Problem with just the sleeve approach is that - for me anyway - when my jr shrink, it shrink. The light grabbing tension is not enough for me - so there need to be something that will hold each end more efficiently.

With that I came up with another idea - similar sleeve system, but with tensioning bars on the side. I’m now working on tensioning bar attachment at this point and hopefully will be testing next week.

I’ve also received another idea from Mgus and I’ll also be testing that - will let you know what it is after I try them out.

The AutoADS v2 I’m testing also uses open-ended condom approach, but with a higher force capability. It is meant to hold down the penis and stretched - rather than keeping it static (or near static/minor stretched).

Again, all these are idea/proto-type and will see how it works in reality.

Did you get good results with your experiment ? I’m looking for the MB sleeves similars on the market for quite a while!
