man, i need a new approach

Well, I’ll be heading off to college in a month or so and from what I have done so far concerning PE I haven’t seen a huge amount of results. A tad discouraged, perhaps, but I don’t have any pressing need for results right now. I’m thinking of going cold turkey for about a month and then just starting the process right from the begining all over again. Is this a good way to do things? I just wish in the past I could have felt that my manual exercises really created a strain, because for as long as I’ve been doing this, it just hasn’t felt like anythings happening. I do trust the process though and will continue to do it in some form or another for the foreseeable future.

Don’t get discouraged.

Perhaps a break will help a bit.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

Buddy, since you’re refering to college, one can guess your age. But one can’t guess your PE history/experience (outside of your joining date), so it’s kind of hard to give you any kind of advise. But after no gains at all (assuming you’ve done some workout), it’s never a bad idea to get a long break before starting from scratch again.

If I had PE as much as I have lurked, I would be hung like a donkey.

PE take time, you now that Rome wasn’t built in one day. Hang in there and keep up your exercising.

I think it’s best to concentrate on PE long term. If you can’t dedicate your time to a decent routine for a minimum 3-6 months straight, just don’t bother.

It’s kind of the equivalent of going to the gym once a week to do one set, you’ll see little to no progress for your time spent.

Come back to it when you can dedicate yourself, until then, concentrate on more important areas of life.

borntodoit,

The biggest issue to me seems to be: Are you going to be able to PE effectively in college?

If so, then taking a break now should be fine, especially if you’re not mentally into PE at the moment. With a “fresh start” you might have an easier time dealing with the mental challenges of PE. Mind over penis, as it were.

If college is going to give you privacy problems, then I’d use this time you have now to settle into a good routine and get to thinking positive again. If you’re thinking negative + college + one month break, then you’ll probably have difficulty starting up again, and may wind up writing off a semester or more. But if you establish good habits now, you can carry them into the school year. Maybe record your lectures and PE while you review them?

Re: Not gaining, what’s your routine? Could you be overtraining? Are you taking enough rest days?

BTW Dustpan, I second borntodoit on your gains. Incredible, esp. when you take volume into account.

God gave me: 4.75" BPEL / 5" EG

Currently: 6" BPEL / 5.25" EG

Goal: 7" BPEL / 5.75" EG

well, since I think I’m going to start fresh, perhaps one of you can give me some advice. When doing manual stretches, I follow what is said in the newbie routine. However, I just don’t feel a true stretch when i do it, no real strain.
