Medical community's standard way of measuring...BP or NBP?

I was searching on a worldwide periodicals service at my university and I decided to search for ‘average penis size’. To my surprise, most of the articles stated that average length is 5 to 5.5 inches. Is they anyone in the medical community that can inform us whether erection measurement are taken bp or nbp? I also have a feeling that a lot of us press harder than a doctor might.

I have never heard of bone-pressed length in the medical community or any analogous term. However, I like the bone pressed idea, because one’s pubic bone is a navigational constant like the North star, and is more reliable, especially when trying to measure snippets of length like a 1/4 inch or less. There are numerous variables trying to measurre against what is usually a fat pad not using bone pressed technique.

As bone pressed digs deeper, I find I willget an extra 1/4 to 1/2” bone pressing vs. not. I think that might explain the “shortage” with the 5 to 5.5 data.

For what it’s worth, I had a friend in college who is a dwarf. During his childhood and puberty he endured constant examinations in which every body part was measured. When they measured his penis, he said his doctors would pull it out (flaccid) to its farthest extent and place a ruler alongside the result. Sounds like NBP to me at least in that case.

Sounds like the source was referencing nbp. Condom companies are mainly concerned about the part of the penis they need to cover with rubber, hence they are interested in nbp. Urologists interested in penis enlargement (mainly through surgery) would likely use bone pressed, but I doubt that they would press as hard as we do. The reason we maximize the result is to be sure that differences in technique are not the reason that an extra 1/8” showed up since we removed variation from the equation by always maximizing results. When doctors take a clinical measurement they only need a rough estimate of size. If a dick is 4.5” bone pressed then it is easier to justify surgery. It doesn’t make any difference if it is really 4.3 or 4.8” the estimate is sufficient for that purpose.

They did that shit to me when I was 12 and thought I had a brain tumor or some shit like that cause I grew so friggin fast. They also x ray the hands looking for the bone plates to be fused or closed. The best is the balls on a rope test in which they have these gonads on a rope and compare them to you nuts like some old House Frau shopping for eggs.

The doctor said to my parents that he staked his reputation that I would be no taller than 6’4”. Well seven inches later. I would love to see him now.

Right now slightly under 250 lbs , closer to 245 or so. I was my heaviest at 270 lbs. But I still look thin. people always mess up my weight. They underestimate it by 50 to 75 lbs.

When I was in high school. I could never get a girl. I was like 200 lbs and 6’10”. Now, I have a sizable contingent of girls that actually crave really tall people. So better late then never I guess? I found that wome like 5’7” or taller chase tall guys down and stalk them. Kick ass. The best ones are the taller girls at 5’9” plus who feel normal standing next to a tall dude.

Sorry to Hijack the thread Skeptic. I do believe that the normal measurement for the rest of the world is only what is seen or usable. So if you or I had a fat gut they would assume we are only small to medium at best.
