Never PE Under Stress?

If I never PE’d under stress, I’d never PE ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree stress plays a big role in turtling, and so does hard physical activity. Not saying I shouldn’t do pe while in that state but I do. I just ease into my exercise and massage a little more and for the most part towards the end I’m doing alot better then when I started. I often wonder if we actually left it in the turtle state if that actually sets us back from all the time and work we put in? Are we not basically training it to not wanna turtle with all the exercises we do and all the anti turtling things we buy? I think it’s one thing when we over work it and it turtles, like I did Saturday night! Versus stress related or just adrelian related. I would think if being smart and not trying to over do it on stress days would be a good time to tell the soldier it’s a good time to teach him right from wrong. ATTENTION! NO TURTLING SOLDIER! NOW LOOSEN UP!

I hate the adrenaline/stress turtle dick absolute worst

UnaIIeviated stress produces cortisoI over time which is hightIy destructive to the body and mind.

In a perfect world, one would simply eliminate the stress. However, we don’t live in a perfect world. We can try to control our reaction to stressors, but we often cannot remove all stressors or even completely control our physiological reactions to these stressors.

Supplementation can help to compensate for the stressful nature of modern life. Minimizing cortisol, estrogen, and other undesirable stress hormones is paramount. DHEA and progesterone are worth considering. I supplement with both.

Very interesting, I tend to not be as motivated while stressed to do any form of PE apart from stretching maybe every other day.

When I say stressed I probably mean depressed but it comes from the same place and is about managing stress levels. Funny enough what helps me with stress is sex and my sex days get in the way of PEing.

"The effects of chronic overexposure to cortisol can be devastating. Prolonged cortisol elevations result in sustained elevations of blood sugar, substantial loss of calcium from bones, depression of important immune responses, high blood pressure, loss of muscle mass, increased fat accumulation and even loss of cognitive function."

Hmmm, I have all of these symptoms plus a messed up thyroid. I guess living in NYC and working 10-12hr days on Wall Street has taken it’s toll on this old body. I wish I knew what it’s like not to be stressed out all of the time. I will say, it really hasn’t impacted my gains.

Controlling reactions is just masking what goes on underneath. Your body will react independant from what you tell your mind. One should really put in effort to remove and counter stress.

I take 25mg GHEA subIinguaIIY daiIy under doctors supervision, and my cortisoI has dropped to acceptabIe IeveIs over the Iast 6 months.

DHEA is a controIIed substance in Kanada and it took me months to find a G.P. To give me a prescription. Persistance pays off.

Everyone knows that stress left unchecked can contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and obesity. Stress also can lead to emotional problems, depression, panic attacks, or other forms of anxiety. It is very important to recognize stress in time and start treatment. [deleted by mod] has many therapies, herbs, and ingredients that can offer you a holistic approach to healing stress. You can try these herbs as they offer no harmful side effects and are non-addictive.

I think it’s just the opposite, because PE can be done in complete silence no Media, just concentrate on the exercises, you could even meditate when you hang.

I also think that these are the moments where you can show yourself that you have true grit and keep pushing. Of course It always depends, varying factors, a walk in Nature is also very good, with some deep breathing!
