I blew a memory chip on my home computer from a power surge and I bet I worked on that thing till the cows came home only to have the Pirate tell me “well you know its probably the memory” and I said “fuck you Steve, I just put that 512K chip in” and of course I ignored him. So when I got it out of the shop….

It was the fucking memory chip. I wouldnt have told him either except he was with me when I picked it up.

Same power surge, I blew one piece to my Netgear wireless system that works through the electrical lines, but I was smart enough to just use the warranty and have them send a new one. What a sweet setup, you get wireless computer connections thru your plugs. Very cool.

Anyway not many members left before we fill up again. This is a great place.
