next day shrinkage after sex...is this ok

Ok, I know must people experience shrinkage in showers, but not after a day after sex. This is very annoying as my girl actually surprised me in the shower and gave me a wtf look on her face. Maybe it’s because I stopped jelqing (I am trying to gain more length since girth is ok). Is this normal because this would be hard to keep continuing gaining then shrinking just because I let out the horses. Thanks in advance.

Also, it’s not common to experience shrinkage in showers (actually most guys relax in a warm shower to the extend that they get a nice fat hanging flaccid - at least according to my observations in the gym).

In general, there is no good reason for PEers to completely stop jelqing. Jelqing is great to promote healthy blood circulation within the penis and can/should be kept until one dies :eek:

Regarding your shrinkage in the shower a day after you’ve had sex, this might be psychological. Do you expect her to chase you up in the shower. Are you nervous she might give you the WTF expression in her face? This of course might induce stress - which then induces shrinkage. You could then try to get another attitude towards this situation. E.g. when I am in the bath room in the morning my wife uses to take her shower. I use to go the offensive way. While I am shaving etc. I am always aware she might stop showering in a secong, draw the curtain back and…. stare on my great cock :D …this makes me semi hard or even hard the whole time through. The result: I do have a wife in who will always recall her husband stading naked in the bath room having a big dick - which might be important for the overall sexual atmosphere in our relationship. If it isn’t psychological, get your testosterone levels checked, your blood pressure, your insulin level etc… You should be fully recovered from sex after a whole night of sleep! A healthy body should not cause shrinkage at that point of time!

If you’re having sex with her and she knows that the erect size works, why would she care what the flaccid size looks like? Perhaps you misunderstood her “look.” If she does have a problem with the way you look flaccid, perhaps she’s the one who needs the attitude adjustment.

Flaccid length can vary depending on a lot of factors, I think if you are happy with your erect length that should be what matters, As for your wife if she really loves you and is satisfy with your love making is not that what matters too? It most likely means that your dick is falling off, really though flaccid size changes all the time. I noticed if I’m with a chick and than I’m laying in bed afterwards and my dick is still wet from her and it’s cold in the room or the AC is blowing on me my flaccid size goes down to a state I’m not happy with. To this day flaccid size drives me crazy I usually have a about a 6 inch flaccid but I can still have a bad day where it looks like it has no blood in it. It pisses me off!! But it’s much better than it use to me prior to PE that’s for sure.

Hi, sorry about the sentence. I’m from PA by the way. I should have said that it looked like it was smaller than usual before I got in the shower. Also she did mention the flaccid size. She said it’s a bruce banner when it’s not pumped (trust me it’s a long story) and that I should not worry about it. What I want to know is does flaccid shrink even when it’s warm and does it change a day after sex?

There are so many things that can effect flaccid size that it’s probably not possible to tell you exactly why you were smaller that day. Room temperature, body temperature, which hormones or neurotransmitters are circulating, etc. There are all kinds of things. It might not even be related to the sex you had the night before. Don’t worry about it.

The first time my ex saw me at my smallest she gave me a “wtf?” look too. I was self conscious about it, and said, “Yeah, it can get pretty small…” She said, “I just can’t believe how big it gets!” I thought this was a pretty good answer. It wasn’t how small I was that surprised her; it was the difference in size from my maximum that surprised her. According to the Kinsey Institute, many American men mistakenly think the average erect penis is 25 cm (almost 10 inches) long, and worry that they don’t measure up. Here are the results of two surveys.

University of California researchers measured the penises of 80 normal men and published their results in the Journal of Urology in 1996. They found that:
