Ouch!! (Somebody gimme advice please)

Hey all,

Well as usual, I was doing my PE last night. It was the first time in about 5 days. I took a little break due to lack of time etc. but prior I’ve been RELIGIOUS with my PE. Anyhow, I was doing some stretches (mostly blasters and bundle stretches which i have been doing for quite a while) and all of a sudden the left side of my dick started to hurt at the base. I am a experienced stretcher and know my limits and all, and I’ve never experienced this. I think i might have pulled/slightly torn a ligament on my left side. It’s quite painful at times (ie when i touch or push down in that area) but otherwise I feel no pain at all. When I pull my dick out (stretch) I hurts but only as certain angles and the pain starts at the base and goes inward. This is my first painful injury involved with stretching. Im not sure what this is or what i should do. Its nothing so painful that i need to see a doctor or anything, but I was wondering if any of you have experienced this. And more imporntantly, is this good or bad? and should I PE tonight or take ANOTHER break. Please respond, any opinions are appreciated.

Take a break! Without knowing how serious the injury is I think take every precaution. I would suggest some light massage and heat until you feel 100%. If over the next couple days you are still having pain I think a trip to the doctor is in order.

DLD,

Wow! I wasnt expecting you to reply…thought you were busy. But hey thanks for the advice. Its not that painful, just very sore i guess. I’ve NEVER been sore after doing stretches, EVER. And I stretch like a mad man and I am doing it right (w/ the help of the guidance you have given me). I just found the “pain” sort of awkward. It nothing serious enough to see a doctor (for sure) and I expect it to go away by tomorrow night, but should I still stretch tonight?

Thanks bud.

Imo I would wait for atleast another week after the pain goes away. You will gain nothing if you hurt yourself.

good advice,,,,,,,,we have had several members (Forgedcrank, Dance, Japp, and many
others) who have gotten injured and “lost” gains. I think Dance maintained his, but I
am not sure since he has disappeared (on the dance floor).

Stop and wait and if it still feels bad, go to the urologist or family doctor you can trust.

Well I’ve been massaging it for a couple of hours…and its feeling better. Hopefully it’ll be completely better by tonight or tomorrow morning.

I wanted to say something else I just remembered popp. There was a week period where I had intense soreness at about 3 months into my program. It was very sore but not sharp pain more like a very worked out pain (mostly in the ligs). It seemed that after this happened I started to make faster gains. I never experienced that type of soreness again.

Faster gains?? YAAAAYY!! DLD, you give me hope like you wouldnt imagine. LOL. Well I’ll go easy on the guy tonight, just some light stretches etc. Thanks for the replies guys!

Hey Popp

If it’s still sore don’t work it, like phat said those guys hurt themselves over a year ago and they both still ain’t right yet.
