Info to other peers

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a group of rare genetic disorders affecting humans and domestic animals caused by a defect in collagen synthesis. Depending on the individual mutation, the severity of the disease can vary from mild to life-threatening.

I’m curious, how does this -reduced collagen- affect your PE?

ticktickticker, are you working on some kind of study? It would be interesting if you are….

I am not. It’s just a theory and I am interested if I am correct.

I would think many people would not know if they had it.

Statistics say that 1 in 5,000 people have this disorder, so even though there is almost 90,000 people on here, 18 guys would have it.

ttt - Which of the 11 types are you looking for? Types I and II are the ones with the hypermobility from increased elastic fiber components that you’re looking for. Type I is more severe than Type II. The incidence of these two is 1 in 10,000 - 15,000 (the severe type incidence is 1 in 20,000- - 40,000). You’re going to have problems finding any since there are only about 3800 active posters.

Maybe an alternative could be to ask how many guys can touch their tip of their tongue to the tip of their nose (a finding in Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, though not exclusively to it). This loosely correlates with elasticity. Maybe you could see whether this relates to penis size, hang or success with PE.

Could work the opposite way… Elastic fibers could be hard to permanently deform. They may get great temporary results though.

In the case of PE, the goal is tension-induced connective tissue remodeling to a longer fiber length. This includes collagen and elastic fibers (and ground substance as well). It is stretch deformation that brings about this change.

We are approaching 90,000 members! There might be a few. A single, anecdotal case would be .. I don’t find the right word - super.

Maybe it’s easier to ask those who has had hernias or varicose disease?

I have Gorlin’s sign: the ability to touch the tip of my nose with my tongue, and a pretty elastic penis. However, I do not have EDS.

As for extreme elasticity, how about guys who can not only touch the tip of their tongue to the tip of their nose, but also to the tip of their dick? lol

I've got it

I’m new here. I have Ehlers-Danlos albeit (thankfully) my symptoms are not terrible. My joints easily pop out and my skin is much more elastic than most. I’m hesitant to try PE in a serious fashion because of a penile fracture I incurred 6 years ago (thx Ehlers Danlos and reverse cowgirl)
What exercises would you all recommend for success in my case.

Thanks and nice to meet you all,
