PE’ers as role models

The traits and qualities that make a successful PEer are the same things that make one a success in life its self. They are also the traits that used to make one a role model (before our current era of idolizing every rich sleazy celebrity.)

“A winner never quits and a quitter never wins.” Cliche isn’t it? But the list goes on…
Be willing to share your hard earned knowledge with others. Going that extra mile to help others that are “for real” about improving. Be objective about what your actions have accomplished. Gratification delay or taking the long view. Dedicating hours every day and not getting a return for months or more. Turning a liability into an asset (DLD, case in point.) Being able to share a secret and not betray a confidence. Keeping promises, to your self and others. Having a sense of humor about your undertakings, especially if they are as big a deal as retrofitting ones dick. Just think of all the things that they used to say made one a man.

Some of us have been successful at PE because we already possessed these traits. Some of us have developed these traits in order to succeed at PE. In either case, my hat is off to all of my fellow PEers here at Thunder’s. I am honored to be in the company of such men.

Wow, man - what a great observation-

Being objective, dedication with no immediate gratification, confidentiality, and keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing. All excellent traits many people display here.

And the part of sharing knowledge, none of us would have done as well if not for those who paved the way to PE before us and shared their experiences.

This is another of the posts I regard as synchronistic, i.e. one of you says something to somebody in specific or to all in general, and that something is just what I need to hear at the time, even though I may relate it to another issue.

as for role models, its a great idea. the best way to learn how to do something or acheive a goal, is to learn off someone who is where you want to be and come from where you are now.

I have to say recently I’ve been neglecting my routine. That was inspirational and it’s helping me reevaluate things. Thanks.

In racing, we like to say: “To finish first, you must first finish”.

Very cool post. I have always had people I looked up to hear and in the other forum. I don’t even want to start naming names because there are so many. In some capacity every active member of the board and the other has given me something to look up to. My PE brothers have been there to help me through much more than penis enlargement and this kind of friendship is rarely seen outside private forums as this. Maybe it’s the anonymity, I am not sure but the level of intimacy that is shown between men here is astounding. I have to say that I respect many people here than I ever have in real life. PE is a huge part of my life but what PE truly is to me are the men and women in these forums.

Such comradery…it really is amazing. I mean, if you think about it…the penis is so personal. Yet, we are willingly and even eagerly willing to discuss, share, and disseminate PE info. We are pretty much a PE fraternity.

Pledge?? Do you have any idea what the hazing for this fraternity would be like?? I mean, look at all the strange and dangerous stuff people are already doing to their dicks — how can you haze beyond that without getting positively absurd.

Having said that, I would consider pledging if someone came up with a good design for the fraternity pin. And what would our greek initials be? Gammo Rho Delta Chi (Grow Dix) comes to mind.

Sometimes I think were a pack of nuts, but we are a great much of nuts and very supportive of each other. I’m not sure if pe in itself is something to look up to or not, on one hand it’s not like were helping homeless people down at the soup kitchen. But than again penis size is important to men and their self esteem so we help each other feel better about ourselves. I guess that is something to be happy about. Believe me when I say I love having a big fat dick that I got from 2.5 years of hard pe work.
But and this is a big but I sometimes wish that having a big dick was not so freaking important to me!
