OK, calm down everyone and procede in an orderly fashion! Size and Thunder are working on the problem at the moment so PLEASE DO NOT PM them or send them emails concerning the outage at PE Forums - it will only slow things down. Keep your eye on this thread for further information as it comes to hand.

So it isn’t actually been shut down by the forum providers, and was just a hacker? That is good news if thats true, but what will happen to post logs. Is there any evidence that they have been destroyed?

Sorry Thunder’s busy, so you get me :) .

The forums are completely backed-up daily so there will probably be little if any losses. This was deemed necesary after the last troll attack and the move from EZ Board.

Well; since we had been working on a project to advance the cause of “free” pe i guess it’s possible we may have hit a nerve.
Whether this is true or not it goes to show only a few members really supported us in that.

Maybe the ones who aren’t with us in supporting free pe for all PE’ers might want to go to a pay site and pay for less service than PE Forums gives freely.

PE Forums will be back up soon.

Instead of putting up a link that states PE forums is experiencing difficulties i wish a link could have also been added that would bring the newbies over here until the forums are up and running again. :) Well anyway, we might as well make ourselves at home here. :)
