Penis size in RELATION to Body size:

Hmmm, how come so many people on this board are taller guys? Could it be that we taller guys simply expect more of our penises (penii ?) than an average size man?

When you look at the correlation coefficient it is my undersanding that the smaller the number the better the correlation. At 0.08 it is the smallest number I understood this to mean that it is not a weak correlation but a strong correlation. Perhaps I am reading it wrong or thinking of something else (I am assuming that the correlation coefficient is its “p” value). So If my reading is correct shoe size is the only one with a strong correlation and so the above statement is still true (since it is a stong correlation not a weak one undr my assumptions).

I have studied fairly advanced math (engineering) but not statistics, so I don´t really have a clue what those values means, nor what “p” value stands for. I´d be grateful if you cared to explain, nice to learn a new thing every now and then.

I think the text could have been a lot clearer on the issue. I´m not a rocket scientist but I´m not a total dumbass (really ;) ), so if I don´t get it - chances are others don´t either.

I enjoy discussions, not sure if that´s welcomed, let me know either way. I tend to start discussions about all kind things just to get new perspectives on them and not all find it as interesting as I do. It´s important to understand the difference between discuss and argue, that´s where many go wrong.

Hmm been a while since i’ve taken my stats courses but p value has something to do with the normal distribution and the possible amount of error. Usually they choose a p value of .05 which has a relation to the confidence interval so in this case that would be a 95% CI for the specific average. I THINK it’s something along these lines anyways; I’d have to break out a textbook to make sure.

So is this “P” factor an attempt to mathmatically eliminate the “BS” factor??

I believed the myth because my two male sibs and I all have our maternal grandfather’s hair pattern. We don’t go bald as we age, we just grow some more forehead.

So, where, genetically, do these patterns come from? And have you in your research seen any hints about how we get born with whatever dick size?

And the myth will be true in some cases, since you do inherit from your mothers side as well as your fathers.

I´m no expert on genetics and I´m sure there´s much greater knowledge here than mine on that subject, so exactly how these patterns are decided I don´t know.

We DO know that hormones play a great roll in our development, both in regards to our hair, lenght and overall size and thus I think it´s likely to say in dick size as well.

So the genes that control the hormones responsible for this are where this comes from. But if this is a question of dominant genes or a mixture or whatever else I can´t say. Probably more than one factor in play as well.

If you have one tall parent and one short that doesn´t mean that you for certain will become tall or that you for certain will become short, so there´s no one dominant gene for that. Same thing with baldness. When it come to dick size it´s not as easy to look back and say “Hey, my grandfather had this dick size and my father this…”, because we´re not likely to know, so deciding a pattern here is even harder.

So in short, I dont know ;)

In all of my travels only one dick I have found has been larger than mine, (8 inches NBP) and it wasn’t longer, just humungously thick—-and hard—- thickness of my wrist, I estimate— and on a stocky black man about my height—5 ft 8 inches out the back of a certain bar in NYC.

Think therefore that the “no-correlation to body parts rule” rules supreme.

I agree…I am only 5’9” and if you go by any of the standard rules that float around I should not have what I do……My Penis is the size of my foot…

I am 6’3” and have a very lite build. If I don’t watch what I eat and work out my weight will drop like crazy. I stay over 200lbs, but my build is that of a runner or model, not a body builder. I used to be 170lbs at the same height. Your stereotypical tall skinny guy. My dick was 6.5X5.5 disproportionatly pudgy. I am of the no corelation between dick size and anything school of thought.

Also, I am keeping all my hair. Something that the other guys on either side of my family tree have not gotten to do. Go figure.

Check out this site, ”Size him up" - they claim to calculate the penis size based on hand, foot and nose dimensions. It’s a nice try but I wouldn’t take it too seriously…

dld, you say your penis is the size of your foot, which is fair enough, my (penis) is almost the same as my (foot)…..almost…(another reason not to believe the big foot mumbo jumbo - I have comparitively small feet)

but you also need to take into account the PE gains have made a difference… you probably werent the same proportion before PE right? Unless your foot has grown too lol…

over 3” innaccurate.
just shows how worthless it is to try and estimate a guy from his body parts…

True Secjay…My foot has measured 10” since I was 17 years old…my pre-pE size was right around 6.5”.
