I’ve got a suspicion they are referring to capillary budding. Whenever it happens, small little nodules appear that raise the skin. This leads to a “textured” cloth like feeling. I’ve made special note of it in my research logs more than a few times. Not attempting to hi-jack the thread or anything, I just wanted everyone to know this is a documented phenomenon. This goes back to what I have personally referred to about tunica layers not actually being a hindrance for growing. Blood vessels are penetrating the layers and this results in nodules. I hope this sparks some discussion for everyone.

However, this should not be misconstrued as venous expansion which can feel like a mass of loosely intertwining strings beneath the skin. This is also a common phenomenon with certain types of pumping along with squeezing exercises.

To respond to both of you, I haven’t seen or noticed any raising of the skin, but nodule-like feeling under the skin when you apply pressure would be an accurate description. Any textured feeling would of course be a coarse weave (the finer the weave the less textured it is anyway). Hope it helps and if I gain from my routine now (which does have this feeling) I’ll get back here and mention it (sample size of one, but better than nothing right?)

I noticed after a very light stretching and jelqing session last night, along with a romp with the wife, that all day today I not only had a good full hang but also had a warm sensation most of the day. It didn’t seem bad or unpleasant, just unusual. Anyone know what this may be?

I have a question, I want to know what kind of erection is normal. I have an erection every morning and it lasts a long time, about 1 minute or so (if I get up and exercise my mind control, it will disappear as soon as possible), but if I change the sky, the erection will not last in the morning and evening That’s long. If so, is my erection normal?

During the day, if my erection was not achieved without any external conditions, without any pornographic videos or text messages, and it could not last for 1 to 2 minutes, should this be considered an erection problem?

I’m doing progressive newbies routine. At first my penis seems to be smaller in flaccid state than usually (6-10 hours after workout) but after that it seems to be bigger. It his a positive or negative PI? It also feels weird somewhat sore or abused for the rest of the day and maybe first half of the next day.

I’ve been pumping and jelqing for a few weeks now (15 min pump, 50 jelqs), and I have never experienced any PI at all. After I’m done, and for the rest of the day, my penis is exactly the same as always.

It can take longer than you would think to get a feel for things (technique, your dick’s response, etc.). That being said, after a couple of years of constantly looking at my dick, I’ve never seen much in the way of PIs either. I’ve grown nevertheless. Pay attention, but don’t get too caught up on it.

I have recently added heat to pre and post extender time, and within a few days have experienced an amazing PI feeling of more fullness during my rest time. My girth has been outstanding and my length, slightly improved. But my point is that I can feel that I’m gaining in my body. Is this the PI I should be looking for, and how much rest will give me the most gain?

I loving being part of this forum. I need help in my journey and everyone is willing to help me. Much gratitude to you all!

Sounds like a very positive PI to me.

Everyone is different. This is why it is so important for us to listen intently to our PIs.

A question - would appreciate your help:
I’m in a recovery/rest period for a couple of months now. Haven’t PE’d for about two months.

Everything feels normal (thank you god), and I’m checking myself with the signs sparks wrote in this thread - for the last month or so, all regular.

Except - I have no morning wood. Before I’d PE’d I used to have morning wood around once a week or ten days (so, also not that frequent).
But the last two months I’ve had morning wood maybe two times, so let’s say - once a month.
This is the only “bad sign”. The rest of the signs (PI’s) are good and normal. Also had a testosterone check and it came back high levels.

Should I be concern?

I’ve read about morning and nocturnal erections. I know I might still have them while I’m sleeping without being aware they’re occur; but still, I found it a bit strange that somehow for the last two months it only happened twice that I woke up in the morning with hard erection.

Would love to hear an opinions from the more experienced members.

I don’t think you have to worry about it. Are your penis chubby when you wake up and is it easy to get erect in the morning? How old are you?

Is "sponginess" a good PI or bad PI. Lately my penis feels like pipe with a pillow wrapped around it, especially after PE. Very firm on the inside but kind of squishy on the outside (okay maybe not "pipe" there is some squeeze to it but its very firm, like a bicep when flexing)
