Another break and more progress
I worked on girth for a few months, then took the last part of November and all of December off. Well, mostly off. I sneaked in a few jelqing sessions, which became more and more frequent until I was doing full workouts almost every day by January 1. I didn’t stretch during that time though.
I measured on Jan. 1: 7.0” BPEL and 7 5/8” BPFSL
I resumed hanging on Jan. 2, starting with light weight and only 2 15 minute sets per day. Several days later I upped the weight a little and went to 3 sets. As time went on I increased the weight a little more and increased the number of sets. I was up to 1.5 - 2 hours per day at the end of the month. I started out fulcrum hanging exclusively, then added OTS, and later did mostly OTS. Total hang time for the month: 28.6 hours (actual time with weight on my dick). I only took 3 days off.
Today, after 5 days of rest: 7 3/16” BPEL and 7 3/4” (maybe plus a hair) BPFSL.
For me, that’s a huge gain. Several months of not hanging or stretching, combined with at least a few weeks of time “off,” apparently allowed enough deconditioning for good results. In the past I’ve put in more effort for only 1/16” (or worse, nothing) in the same amount of time.
Now I have to get back in gear for hopefully more good progress this month.
