Question regarding phallosan and Theraband

Hi all

I recently purchased the phallosan and broke 2 of the condoms within a day. I got in contact with the vendor and they are kindly replacing them for me, however due to a fear of this happening again, I did some thinking and thought either a normal condom with that Medical tape at the end to keep a seal or some theraband instead.

I was hoping to hear your thoughts as to whether this
May work.

Dude how thick are the phallosan condoms?
