small knots

I like to know if anyone knows what I am experiencing. I have noticed last couple of times that I have jelq’d there is a small knot along side the large vein on the left side. It almost feels like there a small tendon that runs what seems to be the length connecting to the knot right next to the vein. I can not find it when I am not erect but when I am during jelq’n I can and its has the texture of grissle ( <—- spelling). It really doesn’t feel like its part of the vein and sure hope it is not.
