On the other hand, if information is already on the forum, why post it all over again? If we can get noobies to read the available information and then post more intelligently, the forum is better.
For example, the next time someone starts a thread “Does masturbation hurt gains”, I don’t think there is anything wrong to point that person to 10 other threads with the exact same topic. Most newbies are satisfied with a response that directs them to existing threads.
So, no one is suggesting telling a person like that “quit asking dumb questions”, but just helping them to find the info that is already there.

Iguana, if you’re so eager to avoid discussion (like me, I hate about 97% of the unproductive, stupid crap that floats around here) then click on the little button on the top of the page that leads to the Wiki. In the wiki, discussions only take place on the discussion page. Every ‘fact’ or ‘tip’, exercise instruction and theory is presented in a seperate wiki article so people can quickly skim them to learn the important stuff. Imho, it’s far superior to the forum because the signal-to-noise ratio is way higher.
