Hello I know many members here have a vast array of knowledge and experience so id like to ask this. What factor does stretch time have on gains etc in terms of how long you hold each stretch for. I personally have used stretches in the 3- 5minutes each zone. I therefore only do a total of 5 or 6 stretches or so but for much longer duration then many of the posters here use. I have been pe since the beggining of July and have went from around 6.3 bpel to 7.2 bpel or so. So I guess I been doing pretty well, not sure if it’s from my stretching style or natural. So what do you all feel regarding the time of stretches and pros and cons of diff styles.

First id like to say it’s funny a moderator mispelled :) Anyways generally I use very heavy tension. For about the first 2/3 of the stretch, I would say I stretch just below it’s max, the last minute or so I stretch as much as it will stretch.

So I just started a new routine

Morning:
warm up
25-30 wet jelqs
warm up
15-20min various 30 sec. stretches

Night:
3x5min stretch

I have only been on this routine for three days but so far it seems great and I feel that the stretching is good. Only problem: I’m uncut an the place where I grip tends to get irritated and damn sensitive. Anyone has gripping advice for me??

My stretches are generally 3-5 minutes each. I also mix jelqing between stretching sets and find this works well. I think longer stretches are more beneficial, but thats only my personal theory.

My times vary. With dual fulcrum stretches, I pull very hard for sets of 60 seconds (I use a clock). On other stretches, I’ll go 90 seconds - but never more than 2 minutes. That’s just a personal preference. I like to keep a strong measure of tension, which I can’t do for 3-5 minute sets.

Try to grip further down the shaft. Keep away (at least an inch) from that sensitive area. Sometimes if you grip with your whole fist (or hand), rather than two fingers and your thumb, you can maintain your grip longer and not touch that sensitive area. You might also try using 100% cotton (dermatological) gloves. They absorb the moisture and keep your grip in place so you don’t chaff willy so much. If that area gets too sensitive, leave it alone for a while. Otherwise, it’ll only get worse.

HH I am cut, I grab right under the head, about half a centimeter or so below in the area between the head and the shaft, not sure what it is called. Is this safe? I find I get the best stretches from it.

I get the best stretches grabbing right behind the head as well. Where I got into trouble is to the left, right at the circumcision scar, (I’m cut), so you want to watch that area, cut or uncut. If you feel any shooting pain there, (even once), then you have to reassess where you’re holding it. That’s a sure sign that you’re irritating those sensitive nerves.

I think that being uncut really makes it harder to grip properly. See, I just can’t grab one inch under the head because the extra skin just makes my grip slide until it is stopped by the head. I tried examination gloves, they sure provide a solid grip but on the irritation side they tend to make it worst. Well, I guess I’m just going to go easy on stretching.

Maybe you should just focus on jelqing. I made and am still making my most significant gains from jelqing, not from stretching.

I’ve been trying something new for the last two days: I do one or two long stretches (1min +) with doctor gloves and than I do all the rest bare hands.

This allows me to get good grip (gloves absorb moisture) without getting too much irritation. I’m stretching 20 mins in the morning and 20 mins at night and so far it’s working great. Humm… 8”nbpel would be nice for Christmas…

That’s a good schedule - 20 min AM, 20 min PM. I’m planning on doing similar when I resume from break.

Powpow: I too am uncut and I also found myself to be extra sensitive while stretching (the good and bad of having foreskin :) ) But I found that over time the sensitivity does lessen quite a bit. Also try to move your grip around occasionally and switch hands often..

I do lots of short stretches in the morning, but in the evening I heat up real good and do long stretches while lying down. I find I can really concentrate and relax all my muscles while lying quiet in the dark, it’s like I can feel my dick expand - simply amazing !
