Swim Cap Success???

Hello - I know this is more suited for the hangers forum but it hasn’t been getting that much attention lately and I’m thinking of going to buy these things tonight after work. I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck hanging using the swimcap attachments and if buying an actual swimcap is really the best material I can go with. Depending on your answers I will probably start this tomorrow.

I tried it once or twice when I first began. I had no luck whatsoever with it. If you try, remember that you will have little success unless you can get the rubber to grasp the coronal ridge by way of friction. Attaching to shaft skin alone will do almost nothing. There are some good homemade instructions for building hangers within the hangers section.

I have not heard of anyone using the swimcap for a long time, but maybe someone will come forward. In general, the results were not so great.

In the beginning, a long long time ago (five years), guys were actually using swimcaps. Something like black Theraband might be better and cheaper.

Hi, I started out hanging with a swim cap. It gave me my first gains and let me know that PE would work for me. The second it started working I started saving for a bib.I coulnd’t get the swim cap to hold more than 10 lbs comfortably. If you have the $ and spend hours sitting at your computer in privacy, buy a bib. Think Tom got some gains with the cap as well.
