I think the most disappointing thing about comments like that, Modesto, is that they come from an otherwise likable and thoughtful character.

People who get lied to become liars. It’s true! When you grow up hearing that conservatives are a bunch of heartless bastards from your parents or school teachers or the talking heads on TV…you actually cope by swallowing the poison. Sooner or later your writing a post in a PE forum and the blind ignorance you have associated with comes belching out of your own mouth - completely unrelated and unprovoked by anything you might be responding to.

Besides, I’ll bet you $100 the guy that runs the Penissizedebate website is a democrat. ;)

I never get depressed reading that site or smilar things. Conversely it motivates me.
Maybe the numbers are more than they should be, but I like the general concept and ideas.

Haven’t been to the site in some time but I did leave the comment pointing out the his survey was never actually carried out and the results published were what he thought the results would be if it were to be done.
I believe somewhere it says he revised the ranges downwards based on feedback.

I don’t have any problem with anything he has on the site because I believe it is as the name states a debate. He puts up some contentious facts and he’s looking for peoples responses, almost like a psychology experiment. The bit about observing eye dilation etc suggests he’s done psych101.

The best and worst part are peoples comments, the fantasy, indignation, vitriol, denial and despair. Why slate a woman for admitting her preference for a large penis?

I remember he didn’t have any links to any commercial sites so if that’s changed that’s disappointing.

I’m a 7 incher and I’ve hit every bottom in every vagina I’ve ever visited and as you say it may lead you to frozen the intercourse because severe pain, no to mention a punch in the face… he he he, I guess the person who made that page it’s nothing but a fat tart that no body wants to nail and it’s her very vengeance on us, normal guys… statiscally it’s impossible to please a woman because only 5% or less of the population has that equipment… at least naturally.

I’ll tell you what.I have never had a hard time pleasing a woman before I started PE, but afterwards I have gotten more comments like: “I like how you fill me up” even though I’m not that much bigger. I think the main benefit is to me, not them. For instance, when your dick is less than 6 inches, you tend to slip out a lot, which is frustrating and it’s also harder to have sex doggy style unless a chick props her ass up just right or she hanging on the edge of a bed while you’re standing. Women aren’t as visual as we are either in most cases, so when it looks bigger, that’s a benefit for us in most cases, not the women. Many women don’t particularly think the penis is all that interesting to look at or good looking, but rather serves a function more than it is to be looked at. Even more women think that balls are ugly and are fortunately behind the dick.hehe.

If I was a woman putting out a personal ad, I’d want to see the equipment if possible, but since women aren’t so visually oriented, they often specifically say “PLEASE>>>NO DICK PICS!”

I do however think that dick size is seen by both men and women as a factor of manliness, symbolically and psychologically. I want a bigger dick so there’s more tool at my disposal. I’m not much worried about whether I can please a woman. I’ve been with over 50 women in my life and none ever complained or spread rumors that I was too small. Maybe it’s because I made sure each one of them had an orgasm.

I think what is distorted about his site, is that he implies that much less than that is not going to be very satisfying at all for women. Feedback from women themselves generally indicates that penis size is not so crucial to satisfaction, though it plays a role along with other factors that can make it largely irrelevant.

Thanks for not letting this one get past you :) . In truth, the guy who first explained the idea of “identfication with the aggressor” to me used the example of African Americans joining the Republican Party to explain the principle.

The logic goes like this: The Republican Party is largely stocked with rich, white guys, many of whom come from former slave states. They may not be specifically racist (although many of them are), but the effects of their policies tend to favor rich, white guys at the expense of poor Blacks. Consider the initiative to abolish the estate tax while at the same time opposing a minimum wage increase.

Don’t get me wrong. The Republicans have the right to want what they want. But what they want does not generally operate to the advantage of Blacks. Now, given that, why would it be that a Black person, once he climbs up the social ladder with the aid of Democrat-initiated government programs, affirmative action, and so forth, suddenly decide to oppose the very programs and policies that enabled his success? Because he doesn’t want to think of himself as needing help. He wants to think of himself as strong and even privileged. He identifies with the rich, privileged class to escape from the feelings of frustration and vulnerabiilty of the underclass. He becomes the aggressor, in this context, to escape from the feelings of being oppressed.

The PSD guy is doing something similar. He feels oppressed and humiliated over his dick. The way he copes with his feelings of oppression and humiliation is to become the humiliator. Instead of resisting the porn industry funded initiative that “bigger is better,” he buys into it. Even though he is not himself big, he becomes a member of the “big team,” and thereby feels somewhat relieved of his humiliation.

Now, I think the PSD guy is also responding to the “misery loves company” principle. He feels miserable over his dick and wants everybody else to feel that way, too. There’s safety in numbers, and, if we can all be miserable together (or, at least 99% of us), maybe we can all just relax.

And , of course, there are exceptions for the African American who pulls himself up without any “liberal help” and becomes a Republican.
