Back when I started in 2005 I first discovered kegels and began to do them nonstop. However I did them when I masterbated and this turned me into a quick shooter. I guess I got into the habbit of doing them because they felt good, and I did them all the time. It soon became an involuntary action and I could no longer control it, I still feel it to an extent today. I have talked with others who report the same problem and insist that kegels are evil and shouldn’t be done because they give you premature ejaculation.

However at the same time there are tons of people who insist they give you more control and give you harder erections. Here is what I have come to believe: If you do kegels while you aren’t spanking it or having sex, it is beneficial. However if you do them while masterbating, your body becomes accustomed to doing it and it fucks you up big time. I remember how pissed off I was and how fast I was coming. Heck I’m still not where I was at back then, but it is definitely better. I have worked on a few things to make it better and it has made a lot of difference.

There is just so many people who have cursed kegels, and so many who praise them, just what I have put together for myself. Anyone else think differently?

If you kegel while masturbating or having sex and you “shoot too quick” my feeling is you have a lot to learn about your body.

I had sex this afternoon and had an erection last for just under an hour using kegels and reverse kegels. They were a key part of my technique to keep it going. She came many times.

They bring me way closer to cumming definitely. Reverse kegels help me last longer though. I am sure of it that regular kegels made me come way quicker. Just look at all of the threads that tell members to stay away from kegels, I’m not the only one here, far from it.

There are many people who do not have the right idea of how Kegels help you.

Firstly, doing Kegels on the bus, train, or car, when you are not having any sexual stimulation but have some time. is the way to start. Doing fifty quick squeezes followed by fifty squeeze and holds will improve the muscle tone and facilitate better blood flow.

This is good for your penis.

Strengthening the muscles in your pelvic floor is also just generally a good thing.

As to Kegeling while having sex. There are a number of ways to use this. However, a Kegel squeeze while tensing up, and breathing shallowly (or worse, holding the breath) will make most blow their load, particularly if moving fast and generating heat from the friction of rubbing (against a hand or a partner or whatever).

Boom it’s over.

Until you really understand what you’re doing it will be difficult to go hard and fast while kegeling - at first. Eventually you’ll get it.

Retrain your body.

Really, you need to tune in to the subtle nuances of your own arousal … and learn to surf it.

Kegels will help in the long run.

But it is not about flexing the bc hard so as to forcefully prevent ejaculation; more often than not that fails, especially in the beginning. In that scenario, your body is in a state of tension and this increases the likelihood of the involuntary release of ejaculation.

You boys need to go slow. By going slow you learn what the levels of you arousal are. Also many women appreciate going slow.

I’m fairly new to all of this, and have searched the forums for advice on kegels. I am fairly confident I have gotten kegels and reverse kegels down, in terms of performing them correctly. I am still confused, however, as to whether or not I need to do both to improve EQ.

I usually have pretty solid EQ, but have heard that kegels are good for blood flow, which I assume is a good thing. My question really is whether reverse kegels reverse the effects of added blood flow.

Also, the newbie routine says to kegel, which seems like good advice, but if kegeling an already strong pelvic floor can be counterproductive, shouldn’t the newbie routine include reverse kegels as well?

I apologize for the somewhat unclear questions, but this is MY FIRST POST, and any input would be appreciated.

The reverse kegel is useful for prostrate cooling or if you prefer being multi-orgasmic. There are lots of threads on this. I’m not sure it has a valid use in PE, though I think some people like to reverse kegel while stretching (gently easing into any stretch is likely to be more effective).

I don’t think having a strong pelvic floor is problematic in PE. A strong pelvic floor to a manual PEer is rather like the core muscles for a dancer. Kegeling is useful for retaining blood within the penis or pushing more into the penis, it doesn’t promote blood flow, as such, it just allows greater control over the flow.
