Ok, pick another hobby and someone will say you are wasting your time. How about golf for 5-6 hours per round. Painting? All day. Learn to play an instrument? Hours on end. Hunting-all day for sure. Car nut-hours in the garage. The list goes on forever.

So who’s to judge the best way I spend my time. I am thank you. And I am enjoying myself and improving my self esteem at the same time. Not a bad hobby I’d say.

Defensive are we? I was just asking a question. And there is nothing wrong with your hobbies if it doesn’t detract from your enjoyment of life.

Sounds like gprent101 is enjoying himself. Sounds like he’s letting his enjoyment rule. I don’t see a problem. Even Dino “hanging like a hermit crab” for one summer is NBD. Now he’s swinging 8+. God bless that dedication. I’m an artist and sometimes I get into a project that totally consumes me, and I mean morning till night until it’s done.

In my early 20’s I was strung out on cocaine. I loved it. I would stay up all night bullshitting with my gal and friends snorting this shit. We had aluminum over our windows so the morning sun couldn’t get in and to this day, when I pull an all nighter(working or whatever, not drugs) and hear the birds start to sing around 4, I flashback. Let me tell you, THAT’S a fucking waste of life. Pulling your dick, that’s not. IMO.

I think I’m finding myself in that “Newbie rut” that I’ve seen happen here before.

I know I need to spend more time on PE if I expect to see my “goals”. I’m only able to get in a few scant moments of stretching, and I can maybe jelq in the shower, but dammit, I can’t get enough fucking privacy to spend the hours that some of y’all do.

Hanging? Forget it.

I have a 16 year old dragging 1/2 the neighborhood in the house constantly, and we are letting a friend (of my wife’s) and her daughter stay at the house for a couple of months while she makes the break from an abusive marriage.

The hobbies I can do in front of everyone? I spend a lot of time at the YMCA working out. I build PC’s and am also an avid gamer, albeit on a hiatus from on-line gaming for quite some time. I play racquetball, and bicycle. I love to tinker with about anything. One of my creative outlets is to write and try to be funny, and I try and enjoy that here as well. And I love reading, and crossword puzzles.

I plan on taking up a martial art, probably an Akido based style as soon as I complete the goal of making the pages of Men’s Health in the “Belly Off” club. But one thing at a time. I really have to conquer my affliction of starting new projects before I finish off the last one.

TV ?? Nah. I’m not into it, unless it’s a good documentary on History Channel, or Discovery. And I’ll catch the Chapelle show if I flip by it. But I only sit in from of the tube less than an hour a week, if that.

Goal : 8.0 BPEL x 6.5 EG

I’m just doing an all manual regime until I can hang and multitask with studying. I study a lot, and because of my fulltime school and 40+ hrs/week of work, I’m pretty much already a hermit. :o So, I just have to make what little time I do have and use it efficiently. I suppose I have to jelq for maybe 20 mins after hanging, but thats nothing. So I technically will only be dedicating 20 mins * 5x week to PE.

But other than that, I like weightlifting, computers, and cars.

edit: I watch a little bit of TV too. But because of my hectic schedule, I usually download episodes of my favorite shows from the internet. I watch maybe an hour per day, but that’s also done multitasking with eating and cleaning and stuff.

I only read up to post #9. But seeing as how I’m doing the PE/ hobbies/ interest thing, I have this:

It’s about quarter to 5, and I’m going to do some resistance training right after I submit this post. After, I will hang while I multi-task.

I am a multi-media’er. I rarely watch TV, but it is always on in the background. About 95% of the time it’s on ESPN. When it’s not, it’s Discovery channel, Animal Planet, A&E, History channel, and MTV/ VH1 (love the music super-star documentaries).

And like others, I like Chappelle’s show (what did the five fingers say to the face? — U’m Rick James, bitch.— Bitches show Challey Murphey ya titties).

But other than that, my situation allows me to PE while not really affecting my life in other ways. I am focused on other things that will take time to develop (which of course means sacrificing one thing for another). And like I said, I can PE as I do the other stuff.

I guess you never had a dick that small that in your mind would cause a hell of a road bump in your social life. PE then helps develop your social life. OK so it doesn’t create it but a getting that adequate/bigger dick perpetuates it.

I like to make movies, I am an avid people watcher, and I like to read.

I think that people put too much weight onto the dick issue, while ignoring the rounded social intelligence issue. Okay you have a huge dick now after years of labor, now you have to learn how to interact with people. Take a balanced program of PE with social interaction and you’ll feel better about yourself. A well rounded individual is much more appealing than a person with a huge cock who stutters and shakes when talking to anyone. I know it is a painful issue for some, but step outside and look at the issue logically for once. You might be surprised what you find.

I’m with gprent. None of my past hobbies have ever been as productive or rewarding as PE. Finding PE was actually the catalyst that finally got me started on my long awaited self-improvement regimen.

So what did I get from the relatively brief social and creative hole in my life? Let’s see; a bigger dick, toned physique, big muscles, some great new friends and tons of new ideas and ways of thinking from the great variety of people who took their time to share with me here. All in just over a year’s time. Now I’m more confident than ever and get hit on a lot more when I go out. So yeah, PE has been worth all of the sacrifices for me. I never would have gained so much painting a flower on a piece of canvas.
