Thanks everyone, I feel rejuvinated and think now I will not give up on PE- can hardly believe I was ever considering it :)

SS4jelq- I have always had confidence problems and this has affected my sex drive. It is now worse than ever though. The fist month or so of PE I had no probs at all just a god pumped feeling and gains! I have tried reducing the intensity but only as a reaction to the problem at its height- I have never started out with a recovered dick and a low intensity…

XL horseman, dino, DLD and hobby- a break is what you recommend and that is what I shall take. It is going to be tough because I am like a crack addict when it comes to PE but in the end what is 4 weeks in the context of an entire life time. Another thing you stress is paying attention to what works best for me- something I have not been doing- looking back I have exercised just because my program stated I should even though my dick was practically pleading with me not to.

Luvdadus, your alternative theory is interesting. I cannot deny that when I manage to get into a good positive mood the small rubbery effect does subside somewhat.. hmmm perhaps my mood is a contributary factor, but I am still fairly certain that the key factor is physical- overtraining. This though meant the most to me ” and be reassured we all experience the rubbery hamsterdick thing from time to time” - I had convinced myself that it was just me- that I had some kind of freak cock that did things that no one elses did.

Thanks again for all of your advice and wish me luck (and willpower) during my months break.

I understand this feeling completely Dongers. I have gone through this exact senario. I think I learned alot more about myself in PE during my break than I did training. I was able to address alot of problems during this time. After the initial week, I grew comfortable with the void of PE and noticed I was not losing any gains. I think learning this lesson early in your PE career is good because there will come a time that your goals are met and you must stop. This small break should prove to be beneficial in this sense. After my extendewd break I returned to PE with a vengence and made some of my biggest gains to date. I stayed very much involved with the boards during my break and people like, Luvdadus, RB, Dino, Merlin, TwatTeaser amoung many others were there every step of the way to help me through this process. Good Luck. :)
