First off, what we already know:

Second off, what I’d like to know:

If one was to apply a tourniquet (via rubberband etc) to the penis beyond its NORMAL size for 15min intervals, would not the chambers of spongy tissue correspond (over time) by increasing the size of their chambers to accommodate the expected incoming blood volume?

and third off:

If we were actually able to increase to size of the chambers the effect would be null without a corresponding increase in blood supply. I guess that’s where zinc comes in.

I don’t know. This is my first post.

It is quite safe to use some sort of tourniquet device, a cock ring at the base of the shaft for example, when erect, for up to a half hour. Much beyond that and there is a chance of tissue damage because no newly-oxygenated blood is being introduced to feed penile tissue.

What happens as a result of a number of PE exercises, done on a regular basis, is that the cavernosa, the spongy tissues you refer to, can be made to increase their capacity to hold blood. The amount of blood of blood required to fill them, even when they enlarge, is not great. Our bodies contain more than enough blood to supply the largest penises we could possibly build, so you don’t need to take more zinc to make more blood, if that’s what you are getting at.

A cock ring simply traps more blood than normal within the penis. Blood goes into the penis and builds up the maximum capacity of that penis, but cannot escape. It may be that repeated maximum engorgement via a cock ring will cause some increase over time but my guess is that would result in mimimal gains. Manual stretching of ligs and tissues (which, btw, also stretches the capacities of the cavernosa in the process), or the use of hangers or vacuum pumps offer greater gain potential than a constriction device by itself.

If I might ask...

I’ve always found that squeezes, tourniques, and the like expand my cock far more than conventional jelquing.

As the pressure can slowly be built and maintained for a longer period of time, wouldn’t this be superior to sloshing (so to speak) the blood forward by jelqing?

(With regular jelqing, the tissues are only really challenged at the end of the jelque, when the pressure is highest, and only for a moment.)

Wouldn’t gradual pressure, over time, be superior?

I jelqed quite a bit for my first 7-8 months or so of my pe career. However, since then I have been focussing on erect bending and stretching/blasting. I occaisonally jelq, but only for short periods when I catch me penis in the perfect state.

I think jelqing has it’s place, and provides great initial gains and penile circulation, but over time, it became less effective for me, with stagnant gains, leading me to look elswhere…
