Variations in measuring techniques is not “fraudulent.” What is fraudulent - or, “utter shit”, as you’ve said - is when people knowingly misrepresent their measurements (sometimes even resorting to Photoshop).

I do avidly disagree with your view point, because when seated and measuring your erection it adds anything up to 3/4(maybe more) of an inch to your true length, thus, when declaring your given measurement it must be an untruth?
Well-nigh everyone does this, yet when measurements are taken of participants in studies on penis size, they use the method of being vertical, not seated. Moreover, when standing and pressing the ruler into your public bone for BP, or resting the ruler atop of the penis, this leaves far less room for variation errors.

Reading my post back, maybe the tone was a little to argumentative, this isn’t my intention. I think that one set technique should be adhered to when it comes to measurements. After all, you wouldn’t tell your girl, or any other girl, that you’re 8” BP, or 7.5seated, you see me?

When Joe Public photoshops their pics, this blows my mind. When other more high-profile people photoshop their pics.. I won’t go there.

Jack, as Wad has alluded to; this isn’t a contest, it doesn’t matter whay you would tell your girl. All we are interested in is consistency of measurement.

The reason why people take measurement pics while sitting, is that it is the easiest ways to take a measurement pic. I think it’s a good position to take a measurement pic, because you can not cheat this way. It’s not possible to push the ruler in the fat pad without the other guys seeing it. When measuring standing, pushing the ruler in the fat-pad is possible. Guys can not see it on the pic.
