Types of ultrasound units

I did not found if this has been asked before.

Does example US 2000 SE -device differ from 20k$ US medical device that they use to cure light ED? Those threatments are very costly too. Stretching with US 2000 SE as heat source, does it have potential to do same positive changes to EQ than those expensive treatments?

I see US 2000 SE is 1 MHz and 1,6 W/cm2.

Trapezius: If you are referring to the “Gainswave” treatments being used for ED, the ultrasound devices may be cousins, but I think distant cousins. The Gainswave “shock wave” treatments use an expensive machine usually only doctors’ office would buy, and they do charge high prices for 6-12 treatments. The true Gainswave-type devices use sound waves similar to those used to break up, for example, kidney stones, but at a lower level/intensity for the penis. The theory is that these shock wave create “cavitation” which sounds dangerous, but really means it creates a physical change within that allows for neovascularization to occur and, over a number of treatments, can improve blood flow related issues. This has been studied and seems to be proven to have good effect.
There are other devices marketed for “home” use that don’t use sound waves, rather they use a piston-type strike mechanism that does create a shock wave, but as I understand it, at a more superficial level than reached by the sound waves devices. They also do appear to work to an extent (the Rocket I think is such a device).
Then, there are others who are selling basically the US 200 device for $1,000 to unsuspecting buyers, saying/representing they are “Gainswave” type devices. They are not, obviously. B-Potent is one seller out there doing this, and I fell for it. You make your initial payment, get what you then understand is a $150 dollar ultrasound wand, can try to get a refund, but they keep $300 as the charge for pointing out you’ve been scammed. As always, buyer beware.
This said, I do suspect that ultrasound with the US 2000 or similar can have good effect on ED. It only stands to reason that treatment that increases blood flow, uses heat, and applies a type of sound wave would have positive effect. I have read some who swear this type of ultrasound helped with curvature as well by breaking up plaque.
But, I am not a doctor….

The term Ultrasound covers a broad family of treatment types which use different type machines. US for heat is a different unit than the li eswt units used to treat ED.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Real working US devices for ED according to this video
1. Medispec ED 1000
2. Dornier Aries 2
3. Storz Duolith SD-1
4. Direx Renova and Morenova

Response

Each of those devices appear to be of the sound wave, shock wave variety used for “Gainswave” therapy. Expensive equipment used almost always just in a doctor’s office.

Renova

I failed to mention, I know the Renova machine is the only one specifically designed to treat ED (it actually was designed so the penis would rest almost in a cradle, eliminating need to move a device head around). It was used in a fairly extensive study in Florida (if I recall correction) but I have lost track of that study status over the last year.

Renova

Apologies if we’re getting far afield…this is the Renova device I had been following a trial on.

The machines we use for heating the penis are low intensity (intensity <3w/cm^2) ultrasound therapy machines.
Made for physical therapy practices.

These are also capable for to be used for a LIPUS (light intensity pulsed ultrasound) treatments used for variety of healing purposes.
The L setting(20% duty cycle) in the US Pro fitting in the category perfectly yet being not adjustable.
L setting not capable to heat the penis, so it can be used for the ED treatment.

LIPUS has been used as an altenative for shock wave therapy when treating mild to moderate erectile dysfunction.

When connective tissue is stretched within therapeutic temperatures ranging 102 to 110 F (38.9- 43.3 C), the amount of structural weakening produced by a given amount of tissue elongation varies inversely with the temperature. This is apparently related to the progressive increase in the viscous flow properties of the collagenous tissue when it is heated. (Warren et al (1971,1976)

The ones I described as over the counter (Rocket etc) are described as ballistic in this piece. Pretty much gives all details anyone may want to know on types of devices.

Which US device for heating?

Which devices can you recommend?
I read that 3MHz would be best for heating but most people are using US 2000 PRO which is a 1 MHz device?
Can you please help listing some of most recommended US devices?
