Vitiligo on and around penis

Vitiligo on and around penis

So I have recently developed small patches of vitiligo on and around my penis, and wanted to hear if anyone else has experienced this. Certain PE exercises (which I quickly stopped) seem to have exacerbated the condition.

The patches are on the underside of my penis along the urethra, and then on my left ball and just above my penis. I can recall having the vitiligo on my scrotum since I was like 8-9 years old, but its appearance on the shaft came about nearly 2 years ago soon after I began clamping.

I figure the vitiligo appeared due to the physical stress of clamping, so I quickly put an end to that exercise, but not until some “damage” had been done. (it was a shame, too, as I had noticed some real good girth gains from clamping!) The vitiligo has seemed to stop spreading at least on that part of my penis since I retired from clamping

The vitiligo then appeared to have been set off again by pumping, but not until about 8 months after I had gotten into a routine. Again, I had to give up that PE exercise once I noticed what was going on.

My jelqing and Horse exercises have not caused any vitiligo, thank god. So I have continued to make gains from those exercises without any “side effects”. (For background, I am now 27 and have gone from about 6.25 to 7.25 with much added girth over a 5 yr period)

I have been treating the vitiligo once a day with either Protopic (tacrolimua oiuntment 1%) or Elidel (pimecrolimus cream 1%) for about 5 months and have noticed very little if any improvement. I’ve used the protopic on the areas around the penis and the Elidel on the penis.

So anyone else had luck treating this? Thanks for reading my lengthy post.

Question for you, do you have this any where else on your body? Or is it just in the groin area?

According to Wikipedia, the condition can be exacerbated by stress in some cases. And I will assume that you are under the care of a dermatologist.

As far as an answer to your post, I don’t have a clue, but I do wish you luck with treating this.

Old post, but I see you are still around and still active, did your vitiligo progress?

I have had Vitiligo for probably 20 years and have probably less than 50% pigmentation left in the genital area.

My vitiligo did progress, but the larger white areas actually look a bit better in my opinion than the smaller, patchy white areas I had before, as it now looks more uniform in color.

I did start on taking Ginko and alpha-lipoic acid, at the suggestion of a doctor to slow the vitiligo. I am not sure how well it is working, but I do know my hand vitiligo is only spreading very slowly these days.

Vitiligo did give me more motivation to continue with PE, as I feel the only way to improve the overall situation is to simply be bigger in size. Hell, I’d even take a 100% white vitiligo penis if my trade-off was finally reaching that 8 x 5.5 in.

I did re-read my post above from years ago and I don’t know how the hell I measured it at 7.25, as i have since gained length and girth, but am just shy of 7 inches length now when conservatively measured.

MARCH 2003: 6.3in LENGTH, about 4.25in GIRTH

FEBRUARY 2020: 6.9 in LENGTH, 4.6 in GIRTH (Results of 17 yrs nonstop PE)

NOW: 7 in length and 5 in girth after a 10-min bathmate warmup. This achieved my minimum goal. Had big breaththough after years of plateau

I have vitiligo. Sometimes it starts due to some trauma, irritation, or allergy in the area, but not always. Vitiligo spreads over time, I’m still finding new patches periodically.

We should be careful in how we talk about vitiligo. If you treat it like it’s serious or a deformity, people will start seeing it as that when vitiligo is a harmless skin change that just makes you look more interesting.

Looking interesting can be a positive or negative depending on how you spin it. If you spin it negatively, we’re victims to be pitied. If you spin it positively, we’re superficially unique.

When people encounter something new, they are apprehensive. The last thing you want to do is act like you’re offended by their apprehension because it means you’ll speak negatively about your interaction with them. You also don’t want to retreat from staring because it makes people think you have something to be ashamed of or hide. When you look different, break the ice fast and positively, then move on.

Starting: 7"bplx5.2" 2017 (shrunk from disuse)(originally 8"bplx4.5", gained to 9"bplx6")

Current: 9.0"bplx6.125" 2020

Goal: 11.5"bplx7" 2021.

For me Vitiligo is just me, I find myself explaining it quite a bit to people, but it is better they ask than wonder I guess.

I am bad for not sun screening and the contrast can be stark in the summer months.

I followed an link to a dermatological study that mentioned it, which prompted me to search for it here, and I came across this thread.

As the condition also affects the penis, it is nice to have this thread fleshed out a bit.

I know the post is old, but they are still present on the site. Does my case also fall under vitiligo status? This condition occurred through the jelq.

Puntos negros (p. 2)

I never knew anybody else had this. I have it on the underside of my penis shaft. I know how it happened, I had jock itch that wasn’t totally cured and I masterbated with baby oil as a lube. Did this many times and the white patch showed up about a week later. No doctor has ever told me what it is, now I have a name for it. This occurred about 15 years ago.

In my case, it is likely that this area has lost pigmentation due to the tightening of the jelq. I will try some cream that for that pigmentation to return.
