I have been having wet dreams since about 8. Some docs say that it is the body releasing the sperm/semen when you are full of it.

Mine usually happens with sexy dreams or dreams where you have to pee like a race horse.

Before I was sexually active used to pump/ejaculate which would release the “load”.

With marriage usually get enough in bed to take care of the problem, unless we are apart then it back to Mary and her 4 sisters.

Yeah, this has happened to me… it’s strange. It makes sense though, your body has the ability to paralyse itself during sleep so you don’t end up flailing like a madman in your bed when you dream about running. Seeing as the feeling of orgasm doesn’t depend on ejaculation, you could have an orgasm but have the ejaculation prevented by ‘sleep paralysis’ of the muscles responsible.

That’s a very interesting hypothesis, olaf, and a valid one. But in the case of a wet dream, some physiological mechanism must relax to allow ejaculation during a dream.

My guess is that ejaculation frequency plays a large part in this, as well as aging. When puberty hit I had a good number of them. Masturbation came a bit later, though, and when I learned how to do that, wet dreams subsided.

Still, a sex dream is very pleasureable, as is dreaming an orgasm. And the sheets aren’t cold and sticky when you wake up.
