What's The Difference Between High And Low Vacuum Pumping?

What's The Difference Between High And Low Vacuum Pumping?

It is often recommended to go low vacuum for pumping and to increase the time instead, but is this really the best way to gain?

From personal experience I have the best expansion from doing 3 sets of 20 minutes and I have no fluid build up. I also haven’t gained from low vacuum pumping for longer durations. Lower vacuum meaning 2-3hg. I have gained from shorter session that are about 40 minutes and 5hg, but I also have a little fluid build up.

Does the workload have to be twice as much pumping low vacuum compared to high vacuum for one to gain? The compensation for less time and more vacuum as opposed to more time and less vacuum

For starters every body is different.

The general consensus is 3-5hg with heat and more time is the “best” method for making gains without (key word here) injuries. Obviously it is recommended to work up to this starting at low pressure and shorter duration’s.

Some people can tolerate higher pressures and time and still make gains but general advice is 7-10hg max and expect fluid buildup which is thought to mitigate gains.

I’ve done both. I feel the low and slow has better long term gains. But if pressed for time I have better results doing a 5hg and pulse to 10hg drop to 7hg and so on.

While I full package pump, I stay around -4 hg, as when I do -5 or anything more I get red dots, and unless I take a week off they continue even if I do not exceed -4 hg. I can seemingly pump as long as I want, or have done about 3 hours one morning without any red dots or real edema on the shaft, but got the grapefruit type sac, which I didn’t like. O want big balls, but not necessarily a big bloated sac.

I made most of my gains (mostly girth) during a period I was pumping twice a day for 20 minutes at 5 hg and once a week for 45 minutes at 4 hg. During the 40 minute session, I would develop some slight edema, but it would dissipate over an hour or so.

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Can you explain about the grapefruit sac? Pumping can cause your balls to swell?

Yes when I pump balls it increases their size. If I pump them more than 2 hrs edema will build in my scrotum and between the big balls and the fluid my the scrotum it resembles a grapefruit. I prefer them to still have some hang and usually quit before the grapefruit effect starts. If I pump them again after a few hours I can get them even bigger. I have got them from 21 cm up to about 29 cm around, or just over 10 inches. I have seem guys get up to 30 inches… I don’t really understand how to calculate the volume change, but they are exponentially larger.
