It would make it a lot easier if members would fill in the Location item by naming a country the are in .This would clear up any confusion when members mention $$$$ Also some things can be bought off the shelf in one country but are unheard of in others ,for eg golf weights,I cannot find them here in OZ.

I can understand it if some members are ashamed to mention where they are so they don’t get hate mail ,say for example Israel or Iraq,but don’t you think members could still remain anonymous even when thy fill out the location

It doesn’t matter to me where anybody comes from but he is correct that stating money amounts in US$ or UK pounds or Australian dollars does help folks in estimating the cost to them in some of the “toys” we buy.

I always look at the location of people, sometimes they are exotic places.

Why should I be ashamed to say I live in Israel? Did not get any hate mail yet, but if I did I would probably be glad to answer it.

I too live in Israel, and am very very proud of it!!! I don’t write it in my location because I like my virtual identity too, but I always talk about my country freely on this board, also I mentioned it in the location thread.

Why do you think we should be ashamed of our country?
