Who is interested in a weekly chat?

One of the coolest things ever developed for the web was the chat feature. I think we should take advantage of that and perhaps schedule a specific time each week (or day) for members to pop in and visit. I know there are some regulars who use the chat feature, but it would just be cool if there were a specific time when a bunch of us could get together.

Who knows, some of the vets might even want to have mini lessons for us newbies. It would also be a real treat for wadzilla or Twatteaser to pop in and give us a bedtime story. :)

I like the idea, OHL. For some reason, my browser won’t let me chat.

I was going to post an idea for a “Thunder’s online radio show.” TT, and others can take turns hosting a radio show for a couple of hours a week.

I have to use, gulp, Internet Explorer when I chat, but I keep Firefox open and browse the main site while I chat.

Go to the Forum Forum and read the last two pages of threads (little numbers at the bottom left of the first page of thread titles), or anything that looks like it has to do with chat. Plenty of ideas, chatware hints, past experiences with the “scheduled chats” and a wet towel or two to throw at the idea. Of course if you can get away with volunteering others to actually do the work (PM me if you want a few ideas), go for it.
