Why is it thicker inside the shaft near the glans

When I’m jelquing, there seems to be ‘harder tissue’ up the shafter closer to the glans. As I jelq I almost feel no force against my fingers as I jelq. But then as I get closer to the head, about an inch from it, the shaft feels thicker and tougher to squeeze. Any reason behind that? Untapped growth tissue? Thanks.

Hard to say. Are you cut or uncut? May simply feel that way because that’s where all those veins and nerves are going. Call it congestion.

Yeah thats a good word for it, congestion, just feels ‘thicker’ than the rest of the shaft, even when flaccid. I’m cut.

Sooo does anyone else notice this, or am I the only one?

I have the same thing. My dick feels more dense as I go past the midpoint and near the head. I thought it was from jelqing be cause the blood is being pushed to the front. Congestion makes sense with all the different parts, nerves, arteries, and blood vessels that run up there. I’m also .5” thicker in this area compared to MS.

Yeah same here. I’m not sure if it’s from when I used to jelq like 5 years ago. Or if it was always like that.
