What you are missing, is that a cold glans comes with the territory. It is also the main reason that it is universally recommended to take off the extender every hour or so to jelq or massage new blood into the glans.
Certainly seems to be the case for me too, but I have read a lot about this in the past 2 weeks and some people say that for them the glans don’t get cold. And that even 20 minutes of cold glans can cause nerve damage. Other comments say that nerve damage only happens when the glans turn blue/dark purple.
I have used my extender for 9 hours the past week, for one hour or less for the first few days, and 2 hours for the last 2 days. My glans got cold each time, after around 15 minutes. I tried multiple ways of attaching, noose, strap, silicone tube with flat middle part, velcro and I bought a bunch of different pads and bandages to wrap my penis, but they all have the same results: they either slip off, or my glans get cold because they are tight. I would strap my penis in, and get it tight enough to not slip, then I would try to loosen it a little by little, but there was no sweet spot where it would both hold and not be too tight.
To be honest so far I didn’t experience any loss of sensation or side effects so I will probably stick to doing this. Hopefully any potential damage will be gradual so I will be able to stop and recover if I need to.
I am considering buying a VAC ADS and adding the VAC part to my extender, as I heard that’s the least dangerous way and it doesn’t restrict blood flow but I don’t really like the side effects: blisters, and fluid build up, and the fact that you have to put tape and other stuff on your penis.
