ESL40 - Good and bads?

Since then it’s been working fine. It has not been stretching as tight before with this new setting, but this new tension is what is required it seems. As a result there has been no more slippage of the cup. Though today it has come off twice, but there has been more tension I’ve been feeling in the cord. - Does this mean that my penis has been shorter today for some reason? Worry that a couple of days off of PE and stretching has made the penis hang shorter already.

Anyway, I also want to ask - should this stretcher be worn again say maybe 1 hour after doing PE?

As my PE consists of
20 mins Heat
20 mins Stretch
20 mins Jelq

all after each other.

If I start ADS after all of this, especially if jelqing puts more blood into the penis, would ADS be worse for gains, or help? As my penis may be more full with blood an less flaccid for some time after PE.

But if my penis returns to 100% flaccidity, should that be ok to wear the ESL40 again and put the stretch stress back onto it?

In my opinion esl40 should be worn all the time except while sleeping. Use the highest possible tension that does not cause slipping off.

This thing is driving me nuts still. Went for a walk with it today. It’s not under much tension at all - yet it still keeps slipping off. About 4 times. Even when I loosened it a bit. It seems the slightest stretch given to it makes this darn thing slip.

Surely this is not normal? What to do about this?

For me its all about getting the perfect seal. Getting it on properly makes it stay in place all day, this takes a bit of fiddling though. Foreskin has to be rolled back and be outside it.

Thanks man. Yeah it does take a knack to get it on dead right. I thought the underside foreskin may not have been pulled back enough today but even when I made sure it was, the cup still slipped.

I position the cup on the dorsal side of my penis so the cup is slightly pointing down, that way it fully covers the dorsal side of my glans. But still slippage is there today.

I measured the flaccid circumference of my shaft just under the glans and it comes in at 4”. I’ll have another look at the site to see if I have the right size cup (I have the largest), and maybe I should order a smaller one.

One thing I think is true though - no way this cup can hold 3lbs of pull on it. I swear it’s slipping off with less pulling than this.

I’ve been wearing the esl40 for a while now. I’ve tried all the sizes and the regular one works pretty well. The largest one does have a tendency to slip off easily. I’ve had some success and have graduated up to the comfort mid size and use it exclusively.

I don’t use it full time any more and generally use it as an anti-turtle device after a pumping or stretching session.

Some things I’ve found effective: squeeze the cup while you are rolling it on to create a small vacuum. Make sure the clip is horizontal. If I can get the first half roll to cover at least 95% of my glans then it usually stays pretty well. Oh, if you are using any lotions or stuff like that it could come off easier. I wash mine with soap and water regularly.

Hope this helps.

I ordered a size down from the one I have. I’ve been sick and tired of it coming off all the time. But I worry that a smaller one may be uncomfortable as sometimes my current one feels a bit tight anyway.

With this one I make it cover 90% of my glans on the first fold as you say. Still came off.

What is your pumping or stretching session consist of? I would like to wear the ESL40 after my PE session.

So I get a new ESL40 arrive today. 1 size down from the largest - I think it’s standard, for circumferences no longer larger than 4”. Fit ok, not too tight, had it on less than 15 minutes, but I feel that this won’t slip off this time. Feels secure and comfortable enough.

Hello Jay Flash. Sounds like you’ve got the thing figured out. I really like the ESL40 because it’s the easiest thing to use in my PE arsenal. It’s easy to slip on and off and stay relatively unnoticed underneath my clothes. I’ve switched to using the Bathmate Hydromax X30 for my workouts in the shower and purchased a Bib hanger for hanging. The Hydromax is my goto right now and I’ve realized some awesome girth gains and some slight length gains with it. 5 3/4 inch erect girth gain up from 5 1/2 inches and I’ve gone from 5 1/2 inches visible length in the tube to 6 inches with the tube maxed out since January. It’s easy to use, but I can’t wear it all the time. The Bib hanger is really effective for stretching, but it’s a process to hook up. You have to wrap your penis then clamp the thing on and it’s not something you can easily hide under your pants. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the ligament stretching aspects of it, but it’s hard to get the privacy to use it if you know what I mean. I can strap the ESL40 on after work and leave it on all evening until I hit the rack if I want to. I don’t sleep with any PE devices on any more. I’m not sure of the permanent gains with the stretching part, but I’m sure it’s helping with anti-turtling and I have a bigger overall flaccid hang all the time. My overall workout is for the long term and not very intense, but I still do the beginners workout exercises when I can. Good luck!

Haven’t posted in awhile but I been using my old els40 cup head again. It’s kinda old and will slip off. But I use a black elastic hair band that cut to tie down the cup after I put it on. It works and don’t slip off. The silicone cup is still thick enough so the hair band don’t cut circulation. It just keep the cup on.

I modified my set up to wrap around my waist using a adjustable band and the bungee cord tied to it. I love this set up because it’s so unnoticeable. Only draw back is tension can only be so so. But it give a great all day stretch. Oh the cup do give penis head blisters if you don’t tape the glands. I use sports tape and ease up the usage if I see any kind of problems.

I did the wrap around the waist modification once before. I just tied the bungee to a hole in the tag on the back of the waist band on my briefs. It would provide some good stretch and was more comfortable and hidden than wearing it on my leg with briefs. It would be nice to have a lengthened waist strap like the leg strap it comes with.

How much pull should you guys feel with the ESL40? I got a smaller one now and it’s not slipped off except for 2 exceptional circumstances. But I wonder how tight I should make the bungy before it’s overdoing it.

I set it so far at around 70% as instructed but I don’t feel a big tug on my penis, plus depending if I’m sitting, laying down, or walking, it’s not always stretching a great deal.

So I wonder how much pulling it can give before it reaches it’s limit.

Jay Flash,

“But I wonder how tight I should make the bungy before it’s overdoing it.”

[—It’s a long term stretch and won’t give you the same pull as some other types of hanging devices. You should feel some tension on the suspensory ligaments when you have it set, but not as much as if you were hanging with a heavy weight. That is one of the reasons I use it as a anti-turtle device now more than anything.]

“I set it so far at around 70% as instructed but I don’t feel a big tug on my penis, plus depending if I’m sitting, laying down, or walking, it’s not always stretching a great deal.”

[—I usually make sure the bungee is taught and makes a good “twang” when you pluck it. The bungee does tend to slacken when you are sitting down. If you adjust it to keep tension when you are sitting then it will be too tight when you stand up. I try to sit with my leg outstretched on the side I’m using to stretch for a compromise. Either under a desk or on the couch watching television, etc.]

“So I wonder how much pulling it can give before it reaches it’s limit.”

[—I haven’t pulled the plastic connector out of one yet, but I came close a couple of times. I would try 1 or 2 pound weights with the regular cup and could go up to 5 pounds with the hanger cup with the metal ring. It’s not really designed for heavy weights and the cup will really really stretch under a hard pull probably decreasing the life of the cup. At times I would get some severe discomfort when I’d crank the bungee down for some extra pull. You should try different lengths on the bungee to see what works for you. Hope this helps.]

I experienced blisters when going for high tension. And once a blister starts it’s can derail alot of your PE exercises till it heals. Especially the cup usage. The blister problem is the real draw back of the cups. Because I really felt a big stretch with high tension using the leg strap.

Taping does help and I wish there was better way to avoid blister. Even though there draw backs I still love using the esl40 cups. Ease up the tension and you can be ads all the time and nobody will know.

Hi all, very interesting thread., mainly because I am using ESL40 now

Great determination on your part, Jay Flash!!

Here is my quick story and progress with it:

In summer of 2017 did ESL 40 for 1.5 months 10hrs/day and if measured correctly, which I believe I did as I like to be precise, I believed gained .25 inch, from BPEL 6.00 to 6.25.

I used the medium/standard size, but now wish I started out with the smaller size for less slippage. Tension was pretty low, but after an hour or two I would feel the ligaments stretched.

I also modified it and used the bungee cord attached to a rubber strap, which wore around the opposite leg.

A year later, Jan - May 2018, did Bundle stretching for 30 min/day and seem to be gaining 1/16 inch every 2month for length and girth. Stopped bundling as I would like to gain more length first. I imagine length will be harder to gain if girth gains first.

Now that I know PE works, I was looking for a better routine and will give a modified Newbie Routine a shot, with
20 min Jelq
20 min basic stretching
Followed by ~7 hrs of ESL to let it heal in a stretched state.
I started this on 6/3/118

Will measure and see what happens on 7/24/18

2017
BPEL - 6.0
MEG - 5.0

2018 June (last measurements)
BPEL - 6. 6/16
MEG - 5. 4/16

Measured on: 7/21/18
BPEL ~ 6 8/16 (Gain of 1/8 inch!) NBPEL~ 5 12/16
MEG ~ 5 5/16

My routine seems to be working.

Found that after putting on the ESL40 cup, of which I use the reinforced version, squeezing the very bottom of the cup around my shaft improves the seal, so I experience much less slippage. Maybe one a day if at all, vs 3 or so times before.
