How much is a good extension?

How much is a good extension?

Hello all, new to this forum and look forward to this journey. I started looking at extenders because I was diagnosed with Peyronies a few years back. Thankfully it’s somewhat resolved on its own. Was left with a very small amount of upward curvature and slight bottlenecking towards the gland. I never actually believed penis extenders work and after years of having an extender sitting at home, I’m now ready to pursue my goals. I’m currently 6x6 and would love to hit the 8x6 mark. Is this something you guys think is do-able? I have a couple of questions about using an extender. Since I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, I want to make sure and understand exactly how it all works.

1) How much stretch is a good stretch? Am I supposed to feel a tiny bit of pain? On a scale from 1-10, maybe a 4? A tiny bit of discomfort but not so much that it’s unbearable?

2) My goal is mostly length so would love to know how you guys saw your fastest gains without hurting yourselves. Is it wise to take a couple days off during the week to help heal?

3) Is there a big difference between extenders and all-day extenders? I’ve read ADS’s are not so much for traction, but to help the penis heal in an elongated state. If so, would an ADS be something you can wear to sleep?

Thank you for answers.

Thank you for answers.

1.- zero pain. 1-2 in the scale. You should feel a pulling force that feels great.
2.- fastest gains doing just extender, no rest days, 12 hours a day, low tension 500-800 grams.
3.- all day extender use to mean something that prevent full retraction , full turtling, but cannot warantee a constant level of considerable tension as a regular rod extender. I havent tested those but extender needs at least 500 -900 grams to be effective. under 400 I would say is too low tension…. may be even too low to really extend your penis properly.
Use nothing to sleep. Give your penis that proper rest for it to have the night hards and that´s all. I take some citrulin or nitric oxide pills to go bed to ensure hard erections over night and that can help enough.

How can I know how much tension I’m using?

Gaining in progress...

Extenders usually have markings on the rods which are indicators of tension. The manufacturer usually has some kind of data to tell you how much tension the original springs give at each marking.

You could also use some kind of scale to test it yourself. Just press down to each level and record how much.

I think each notch in the rod is 300 tension
