Basically, how I gauge how much tension I should be using is I measure my flaccid stretched length, and add about half a centimeter more to that. I feel that’s all anyone needs. The booklet told me to stretch 1.5cms beyond my erect length, but that wasn’t something I could do at the time without injuring myself. So I stretch just beyond my flaccid stretch for about 4hrs a day (plan on hitting 6hrs soon). I don’t believe you have to necessarily stretch beyond your erect length to grow. When your penis is erect it’s technically “swollen” so it doesn’t make sense for a dry penis to measure in the same dimensions even when stretched.
I’m new here, but I wuold take that with a grain of salt. I don’t think you need to go beyond your streched length as genetics will come into play, as long as time spent stretching. I would be shocked if any newbie could stretch longer than their erect length. However, I would imagine most people stretching for over a year would be able to achieve this. I also think genes play a huge role in this, and evidence could be found by the large disparity in flacid to erect growth rates.
