The Samurai (quick review)

The good -
- item as described
- quick shipping
- easy to put on
- very comfortable
- can get the ring size customized for a small fee if you outgrow the current size
- should last a lifetime
- excellent customer service

The bad -
- I’m to small for the standard strap so have to send it back to be customized
- expensive
- not one size fits all so picking the correct size can be difficult. I suggest skyping them before purchasing cause if you are like me you may need the strap or ring customized

The overall - can’t really give a review since im unable to wear it with a full stretch since it slides right off. But i can just wear it as a weight hanger just fine. The one I have weighs 2.5 pounds

One thing I was thinking is that it may make sense to self-modify the glans area “ring” to use velcro, rather than the admittedly quality leather device they use. I am thinking of seeing if I can apply velcro to the inner sides of the strap for this purpose, maybe discard (cut off) the buckle mechanism. Another option may be to use either a foam or latex sleeve at the tip area to allow more comfort, and to tighten connection more easily.

You have trouble getting the strap tight as well?

I think the heavy leather and loop fastener is cumbersome, and the small rubber liner is too little. While I was able to get it tight for use, it’s just difficult with the stiff leather/loops. So, Velcro seems to make sense as a retrofit to me to do away with the loop strap thing.

The leather « strap» - what are the smallest size it can be ? Diameter ?

I have no idea. Seems like the buckle/loop system would fit any size if tightened enough, but the leather stiffness makes it difficult to effectively pull tight. Or comfortably, hence thinking of first putting on some cushioning item, like the foam or even rubber sleeves from other extenders, to make the attachment more comfortable for longer periods.

It’s via allknight.com or similar. They have an array of items, rings, hanging, etc.

Even with a sleeve on first it still refuses to get tight enough cause once you pull it tight as possible as soon as you try to go through the second loop it loosens and its impossible to pull it completely around. I wonder if its possible to add velcro to the leather strap

I was thinking of double sided velcro tape, described in one Amazon product description as:
Double-Sided Adhesive, 8M Extra Strong Self-Adhesive Hook and Loop Tape Roll Sticky Back Strip with Strong Adhesive Tape Strip Fastener 8.8 Yards, 20mm Wide Black Used in Sewing, School, Office, Home

Seems could easily stick the proper sides to the leather strap, maybe even cut off the metal loop portion? I assume the adhesive would stick to the leather.

That would be perfect
