These files were saved using "Windows Media Format," which I felt confident about because it opened automatically in Windows Media Player (and then said "Gee, boss, I can do this in Internet Exploder" and opened them in the side bar of the browser window.
Even Opera was able to open them. Even the Mac was able to open them (in Quicktime).
The only "problem" is I have a spanking new 2gb P4 machine with XP and the latest version of Exploder - I don’t waste time with Netscape unless I have to - and so I don’t know anything about the backward-compatibility of these things.
Unless you have DSL/cable, you may not be too excited about the 10mb Windows Media Player download at
Quicktime is also available free at http://www.appl … ktime/download/ - I don’t know how large a file it is, because I’m too lazy to download it and find out.
