Anyone with a low LOT gain from BTC stretching

Was that an off base interpretation as well?

I think that SO is a fairly decent way of stretching the tunica. About 10 o’clock would be perfect (SO is approximately 9 o’clock). Hanging above 10 o’clock is probably no different from hanging at 10 o’clock, since you’re just causing your shaft to wrap around your pubic bone.

Note that any hanging position will stretch the tunica. The tunica is attached to the body, via ligaments near the pubic bone and muscle insertions inside the pelvis. Stretching at higher angles takes most of the stress off of the ligaments and allows the deeper parts of the tunica to be stretched. Stretching at lower angles focuses the stress on the ligaments and on the parts of the tunica in front of the pubic bone.

I have read posts that say just that, meaning stressing the tunica is a matter of which part of the tunica. I read (can’t recall where right now) that above SO stresses inner tunica, whereas below SO would stress more ligaments and outer tunica.

I am considering hanging. I read that SO could be done by just hanging the weight over the edge of a chair. What would you recommend for hanging at ~ 10 o’clock, ModestoMan?

Thanks.

It depends on what you’re trying to stretch. 10 o’clock is great for a front-to-back tunica stretch, but 7 or 8 o’clock is better for hitting the ligs and the tough dorsal surface of the tunica. Lower angles are probably better for lig stretching, but I like to hang while sitting in a chair.

Very useful info, Modesto.

It seems like any position from 9 o’clock on down could be hit just by what angle someone is sitting in a chair, but what set-up would you have to add to a chair to hit a 10 o’clock hanging position?

10 o’clock in a chair is a little tricky. If you live alone or can explain the hardware, you might attach a pulley to the ceiling directly above your hanging position. Best to screw it into a stud ( :) ). You can then hang at 10 o’clock just by reclining slightly in your chair.

Of course, you can move the pulley forward and sit up straighter, but that might cause the cable running up to the pulley to hit your keyboard or desk.

Another idea is to mount a pulley under your desk. If your desk is high enough, you can probably get close to 10 o’clock just by sitting up straight. Note that 10 o’clock is pretty close to the upper limit of what you might need. 9 o’clock might work nearly as well, and it’s a lot easier to manage. The key is to find the angle that causes you to feel tension all the way back into your pelvis.

It’s possible that not everyone can get to this point. Depending on the geometry of the suspensory ligaments, one might not find any angle that enables one to feel tension all the way back. If this is the case, I suggest loosening the ligament first, by hanging at low angles for a while, and then hitting the higher angles only after you’ve created some slack.

Great info again, Modesto.

Thanks, my friend.
