Bib, some direction please.
I will do my best to explain what is going on lately. I have increased my sets dramatically in hopes of staying away for the higher weights. I am currently hanging an average of 3 hours per day,and some days closer to four. This has worked beautifully, I have had a really good round of soreness. The soreness actually feels like there is good things to come, when I cough I feel the pressure, when I suck in my stomach I feel it, when I bend over I feel it.
The soreness seems to be fading after a good week of hanging (32 hrs), I realize the simple answer would be to add weight until I am comfortable with the soreness again. This is what I am prone to do as I have in the past. Bib, my question is when you were hanging, did you go up only after all soreness dissipated, or was there a certain degree of soreness you aimed for? I know it is probably not valid, but can you describe the levels of soreness you experienced?
Currently, I feel the soreness described above with some shaft soreness from not switching the attachment point on my shaft(I do know better).
Others reading this, I am in no way advocating jumping the time to this degree,I’ve been at this a while and am well conditioned compared to my first month. I couldn’t imagine then I would even be hanging these hours.
Thanks,Alice
