I’ve changed hanging BTC to hanging SO and SU for the last month per your LOT theory. The stretching sensation I get doesn’t feel all that different from when I was doing BTC. Is there a particular difference between the sensations of tunica versus lig stretching? Should I be looking for a particular kind of sensation that will tell me I’m directly working the tunica?

Yes, when working the tunica solely, you should notice an ache in the shaft, inner and outer. When working the ligs, it is normally within the base of the shaft, to the top of the pubic bone, and even into the lower abs. Also, you might ache in the outer shaft.

If you have a low LOT, you were probably just giving some useless stress to the ligs that took away from the stress on the tunica where it would do some good. IOW, the tunica was taking much of the stress, uninterupted by the ligs.

My LOT is 8:00 to 8:30. When trying V-Stretches during hanging SO I can really feel a “burn” on the sides near the base at the pubic bone. Otherwise the sensation seems to be more “inside” the shaft during SO and OTS, which I understand is what you indicated for tunica stretching. I notice also that I’ve been able to go up in weight pretty rapidly - after 30 days SO I’m hanging 20 -30 lbs for 3 X 20. Should I go for more weight if it feels ok, or try for more reps at a lower weight??
