I’ve been hanging in my current routine since December 2. The plan is to hang every day for 1 week for 2 hours a day. Then, the next week is every day for 1 hour a day. I hang with 900 grams (2 pounds). I also do jelqing with a hot jar holder for 30 minutes after hanging. Everything is going fine, and I plan on measuring later tonight or tomorrow night. No injuries except slight soreness for a couple hours.

I have not been getting the “stretch” feeling in my dick like when I started this routine. These days, it feels like the weight is hanging but my dick is used to the weight and feels totally normal. I still get slight soreness for a couple hours on a couple random days during the week. So, that must be good.

Should it feel like my dick is being stretched a lot?

900 grams is a small amounyt of weight to be hanging, though it seems like a lot when you first start.

I find that I will get some soreness some days and others not so much.

Hanging is an art as much as practice, and there are so many factors involved in a good session vs. One where you feel as if you’ve done nothing.

I have been hanging since july of last year and have had some good results and recently began fulcrum hanging, which has taken my workouts to a new level of intensity.

Fucrums are done seated with a dowel or tube on your lap, which you hang the weighed penis over, creating a bend as you stretch.

Don’t be worried too much about the weight you are using, but focus more on what type of hanging gives you best results, and be patient.

Over 40 hours a month is plenty to see results over time.

A-unit, I like the fulcrum idea. I will try that tomorrow. What types of weights do you use? I have a 1100 mL water bottle, so that’s about 1200 grams max including the weight of the bottle. Thanks for the validation that 40 hours a month should be good. It’s good to hear that from someone who has seen gains. How many hours do you do per day and per month?

I am up to 11 pounds for the fulcrum.

On a good day I get an hour in.

I wish it was more, but I have a busy schedule and a wife who has know knowledge of my PE adventures.

Yeah, you should feel a stretch.

If it any one point you feel the weight it too much to continue (While maintaining that stretch) you can opt to lower the weight. Simply continue from there, lowering the weight with sets as fatigue sets in. The reason for this is micro tears, rather than macro tears.

I have been vac hanging 3 pounds for two weeks but I have yet to feel the “fatigue”. 3 sets x 30min. My thoughts was to ramp up slowly in weight over time (like 1 pound per 2 weeks) but I am wondering if upping the weights to see where I start feeling the fatigue and starting at that weight may be more efficient approach? Any experienced hangers have opinion on this?

When you are hanging you should do couple of things in order to succeed. Your routine should be consistent, you should hang every day, you should feel the stretch and you should be fatigued.

I am time restricted so I can’t do more, maybe a weight increase is called for?

Yeah I think everyone is driving to the same point: fatigue your dick!

And you’re saying you can do that a number of ways: more weight, different angles, a fulcrum, and/or more time.

If you are using a clamp-style device, 2 lbs is too low to feel anything because the skin is taking a good part of the stress.

Time seems the best way, simply because you’ll get more stretch out of your hanging (Pun intended). Once you hit that fatigue/stretch, you’ll notice that sets become much harder to maintain and you’ll need to lower the weight.

I’ve been having a hard time getting that stretch, so I’ve started with different angles. As I’ve noticed though, even different angles require slightly different wrapping and a good ‘setup’ in general. Currently I’m using pulleys underneath my desk for SO hanging.

Yeah, don’t ask.

I need to at least do a third set to experience the fatigue overload.

Interestingly, I do sometimes feel that I need to lower the weight the next day if I’ve had two good sets the day before, like today for instance where I did my last set around 4.00pm and I’m still sore and in all likelyhood will have to start light in the morning.
