Hanging question

Hanging question

Hanging 101 says to hang 45 minutes per day.

Is this 45 straight through, or split into two 25 minute sessions.

I think it’s recommended that you split 2 20 minute hanging sessions, with a 10 minute break in between to jelq or just return normal blood flow

Ok good.
Thats what I have been doing.
I reread the 101 and just was curious.

Also, does anyone have trouble keeping their stretcher on with more weight?

I have the redi-stretcher, and it holds good up to 7.5#.
After that it keeps falling off.
Yes I do have something around my dick to hold it in place.
But it is more that the grippers don’t seem to grip with higher weight.
I fall through the grippers, not straight down like it slipped off.

Don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade here, but two 20 minute sessions is only 40 minutes.I used to hang three sets of 20 minutes ,but I’ve changed my routine and now hang four 15 minute sets.I’ve found that it really helps cut down on the pain level, especially that last set where it seems I’m always watching the clock.

When would you recommend starting hanging if you’re new to PE? I’ve been doing the stretches, jelqs and kegels for about 2 weeks but I want to focus on length a lot more than girth, so wouldn’t mind starting hanging.

You really need to follow through with the newbie recommendations before you start hanging, Your skin and internal tissues need the conditioning. You’ll get additional skin stretch anyway but it won’t be nearly as traumatic after proper conditioning.

Hanging is a traumatic exercise. Mentally you need preparation as well as physical.

OK, thanks a lot Monty530

When you do start hanging, start light and watch your gains and record them once or twice a month, no more often then that so you won’t become disenchanted. Gains come slow for a lot of guys and they tend to do two things: either they get discouraged because they expect gains that are larger then their getting if any at all, so they over train or they quit altogether. Over training is easy because we get impatient and the thinking that more is better. Doesn’t work that way. Steady routines. Mindless exercises over a long period of time. That’s what get you where you want to be. I don’t know how many guys I heard that complain that they only gained 1/8” in 2 months. Well that would equal 3/4” per year. That’s not a bad gain amount. You’ll figure out what works but patients is a necessary component while changing one thing at a time to see what makes a difference. Beware of periods of time where complete healing can take place and you loose what you’ve gained and then find that your dick won’t respond.

Monty has given you good advice. I would add that you should be sure to check your glans throughout the hanging session to be sure that no numbness is setting in. Prolonged numbness can lead to problems.
