Left lig taking on more of the weight?

Left lig taking on more of the weight?

When hanging my left lig seems like it’s getting pulled more than my right lig. My left side bpel measurement has always been a shorter measurement than my right side, something like 1/8” - 1/4”. I don’t usually measure left side and would have to check to be precise but I know it’s shorter. Is there a connection (no pun intended) between my left lig seeming to take more of the hang pressure and my left side length being shorter?

Anyone else experience uneven lig pull?

I had the same experience in my first few weeks of hanging. Over time the pull seemed to even out among both sides.

marty,

Did you have a gain in length at the time it evened out?

Can’t say for sure because I only hung solo for a few weeks or more. Then I incorporated several routines along with hanging. Best I remember I did move up about .25 inches somewhere during that time. But was it from hanging alone? I don’t know. One thing I do remember is that hanging became more comfortable when the left lig stretched to match the right.

Thanks marty. Once I feel it even out I’ll post back here about whether or not I see a gain at that time.

beenthere,

I have had a similar effect with all my hanging to date with the Bib hangers.

My unit is hung to the left. No sorry my unit is not hung yet but has a left curve or more rightly said is dressed to the left.

I have for almost the mojority of my bib hanging expernce which is 18months now have been having my left side structures in my base area always being under more tension than the right.

I discussed this with Bigger previously and he advised that over time as things loosen up the right side may start taking the stresses that are being applied.

So when I hit BTC in the beginning of this bib hanging adventure my lhs strutctures were diffently taking all the stresses.

I then moved onto SO after about 9 months and then still the lhs was taking most of the stress. I would dig my fingers into my base on both sides and I could actually feel more pull in the lhs than in the right.

Now in the last 3 weeks I am hitting a much steeper angle. It is not OTS. I can’t do OTS position yet without almost having myself going arse over tit so I sit on the floor under my table and have the pulley of my SO set up almost at head height. The result is an angel that is way above my LOT of 7 to 8. Infact I think my LOT is increasing but what is interesting is that I can now feel stress being applied on both sides of my base while hanging in this upper angle set up.

This has only started this week mind you.

Fatigue is hard to come by at present in this positiion, stuff me I have only really felt fatigue about 3 thimes in 18 months so far. Probably cause now structures on the lhs & rhs of my base are staring the load and also cause my shaft is just as stubborn too change as I am at times.

But to summarize this post ” yes I am having my strutures across my base of my unit starting to share the stress that I am appling to them”

Mr. Justin………be very careful now that the right side is starting to feel the pull. I had the same problem as you. Left side pulled all the time, then……I started feeling the right side pull harder for a few days then all of the sudden during a hang session the right side felt as if it was taking most of the weight(20#s). Very dangerous. Keep your hand on the hanger while you hang just in case something “gives”. The practice of keeping my hand on the hanger and hanging with the weight almost touching the floor allowed me to have small injury instead of a huge injury.

Stretchin,

What was your injury?

Stretchin,

Thanks for the sound advice. I hear what your laying down. Please explain to us what happened.

I shall have a look in the injuries forum in the meantime but please get back to us on this one.

Thanks in advance.

Justin & Beenthere, nothing terrible.(no doctors or hospitals) While hanging I felt something pull in a very strange way, almost like one structure was pulling away from another, I know that’s not what happened, but that’s the best I can describe it. During the strange pulling sensation I got a sharp needle like pain. I say during as though the strange pulling sensation lasted minutes, when in fact it was very very quick. Just long enough for me to say to myself, “That feels Stra….ng…e….!!” Like I said in my previous post, I had my hand on the hanger the whole time with the weight very close to the floor, so I pulled back on the hanger with my hand to alleviate the pulling force and lowered the weight the rest of the way to the ground. My weight is usually never more than an inch from the floor when hanging straight down. The sharp pain continued for a few minutes and slowly subsided, but I knew I had done something to myself. I waited for an hour or so and tried to “flex” my dick. When I flexed I felt the same sharp pain that I felt when the injury happened. I had to lay off of everything for two weeks. I tried jelqing after the two weeks and still had some very slight discomfort so I stopped for another couple of days and eased back into the jelqing and I am hanging very light weight now, teb pounds and less. Since the right side is now getting some of the hanging action I find that I do not need nor can handle the twenty pounds any more.

The injury was on the right side of the shaft, more toward the base. The sharp pain was on the side, but slightly underneath. The pain is now very very faint, but is still there. I believe what is happening is that a small vein is being forced to grow.

More later I’m at work and gottta go.

Even before I received my Bib hanger 2 weeks ago, I knew that the load would be felt on my right side. I have a slight curve to the right when erect, while holding my penis straight out. However, this curve is not noticeable when the erect penis is straight up. With a partial erection, say 75%, I can bend my penis more easily to the right than the left. Also, as I twist my erect penis, the pivot point is on the top, right side.

After only two weeks of hanging, the curve has been noticeably reduced. I am hoping that this unequal load bearing will result in some good newbie gains in length when I measure in two more weeks. Divide and conquer!
