Low starting Lot. What's my potential

Don’t let the LOT nonsense become an excuse/reason for not giving PE your best shot. If you want to hang, hang. Buy or build a quality hanger. Pick an angle. I’d used either straight down (SD) or straight out (SO). Be consistent. Stick with it for a couple of months and see what happens.

Hey MX, why use the straight down method of hanging? Wouldn’t I get fewer gains from this position seeing as though I already hang straight down while flaccid and no longer get the “pop” from stretching that way? I can understand your reason for the straight out method (even though I wouldn’t know how to). I still feel stretching when pull straight out, and now I’m trying to find out how to stretch the tunica. So wouldn’t straight out and straight up or over the shoulder hanging be better?

It sounds like you are just starting to look into hanging. While the process can be a great way to PE, there can also be a pretty steep learning curve. If you decide to go this route, realize that you’ll probably need to do a lot of reading and experimentation to get it right.

Use whatever angle you wish. Those are just suggestions.

When first learning how to hang, SD is probably the easiest angle work with. If you start with it, you might as well stick with it for a while and see what sort gains it yields.

For tunica work, it’s my experience that SO is superior to OTS. Drawings in physiology textbooks seem to support this as well.

Like all of my other experiences I will be sure to research hanging thoroughly. I am no fool, and my penis is wayyyyyy to important to me to try something without research. Especially with that area of the body. However, I am with big black stick; Do you care to elaborate more on the research of hanging straight out vs over the shoulder?

My experience in hanging more than 1,500 OTS sets and probably at least 200 SO sets, is that SO gave me very deep BTB fatigue which I didn’t experience with OTS.

OTS is somewhat akin to pulling a hose around tree or a corner. You can still do it, but there’s a lot of drag…and at some point the corner/tree becomes the anchor/pivot point and everything behind doesn’t take much stress.

When you look at drawings in physiology textbooks, what you notice is that penis sits in body at roughly 10:00. In other words, in relation to the rest of the body, it’s not perfectly horizontal or 9:00. If the penis were a steel bar stuck in a piece of rock (the body), the angle to pull it out would very close 10:00.

Another interesting point is that if you set-up for the original A-stretch and DLD blasters, which a lot of people claim to have gained from, you end up pulling at this angle.

Just my 2 cents.

As one who believes Modestoman thet lot theory does not stand up to test. Within 2 months My lot has changed from a full tugback at 6 to a light tugback at 9 and I am gaining perty damn quick. Dont worry about your lot stick with the newbie routine. Its been working for me.

No gains to speak of as yet but I can tell something is happening. Looks fuller after jelqing and stretching.

When I first started with all of this, I jelqed for three months before starting to hang. I made progress with hanging for about six weeks. My total combined gains were 0.5” BPEL, 0.625” BPFS and 0.5” EG. I don’t have my PE journal with me so I can’t give you the exact breakdown. But it was close to 50%/50%, jelqing/hanging.

I then continued to hang another nine months without any gains. I hung a minimum of 40 sets a week. A total of 1,819 sets or 606 hours of actual hang time. At the end, I was hanging up to 27.5 pounds. Gains = 0. Bib and I tried a number of things to break the plateau, but no dice. I finally called it quits and took a year off.

My Lot started and stayed lower than a snake’s ass, around 6:30

The vast majority of my sets were OTS. I didn’t figure out the SO thing until near the end. Both Bib and Modestoman have confirmed the SO distinction.

If I were to hang again, here’s what I’d do:
Use SO as my primary angle.
Use plenty of heat.
When not hanging, use an ADS as much as possible.
Hang for two months. Then take a three month deconditioning break. Rinse and repeat.

SO,…… yes, yes, SO. Some SU but 2x1 SO. Combine that with 2 things, Fulcrums top, left and right, and ADS 2lbs. All day everyday and you’ve got my schedule.
