Midshaft Hanging?

Hello i know this might be far back now but someone mentioned earlier that if you hang fron midshaft then all your doing is stretching your ligs and NOT allowing your shaft to grow as well.

Is thus true? If so, how do you hand if not at midshaft? From the glans? Would that be a noose basically?

Well if you are hanging midshaft then the area under the hanger and all the way to the base is being pulled. So that doesn’t sound like only ligs to me. I have experimented with about an inch from the glans to a lot farther back. They all provided a sensation in the ligs but also on a good part of the shaft.

I have heard that argument before and it was essentially an argument for vacuum hanging. I am not trying to say one is better than the other. I just suggested to them that if you are only basically applying tension on half the penis, then wouldn’t that area be more likely to grow. If someone is doing the same weight along the entire penis wouldn’t the distribution of the weight mean it would require more weight to be effective.

I truly don’t know and the best we can do is guess unless we where to actually have some full on clinical trials. However, you know that will never happen.

Id also like the answer to this.

As of now, I am kinda hanging from midshaft.. Mid to uppershaft, not quite close to the tip.

I have read somewhere that one is supposed to hang at about 1” below the incision scar.

I have no idea whether the attachment point of the hanger at various places have various results.

Ive searched a bit on here but the search function is over trumped by google - I find thundersplace topics

via google much easier & faster than through the site search function…

What Im trying to say is that I have not specifically found threads from PE stars regarding this issue

The issue with hanging from circumcision scar and back is a safety issue with compression hangers. The fear is that a compression hanger can put force on a delicate nerve bundle in between the circumcision scar and the glans. I have know idea if this is true however, I always found the circumcision scar as a great visual reference.

I never saw the actual post or posts that Greencrab is getting his information from. I have had the discussion myself with others. Usually the people who say these things are vacuum hangers with almost no compression hanging experience. Not really trying to start a debate between which is the better. Considering that many people that hang with a compression hanger have stated they have gained base girth, I find it hard to believe that all the focus is on the ligs.

All of can debate and trade stories on what we have heard but it is hard to prove anything with 100% certainty that way.

My own bias is I only use a compression hanger.

The closest I get is maybe a quarter inch back from the circumcision scar. I have done that many times without issue.

Couldn’t tell you if I have seen better gains in one area or not. For me it comes down to comfort.

My cock is about 5” flaccid. My hanger is made from a piece of 2” wide foam/rubber hatch seal. The glans is 1”, so I don’t see a tremendous number of options for placement!

My question is about skin. If I pull the skin out before putting the clamp on, the weight mostly pulls skin. Where will this end? Won’t the skin just keep stretching and stretching? If I pull the skin back instead, it seems to grab the internal part more, which is obviously what we want in order to get it to lengthen.

Thoughts?

I accidentally did stretch more skin than I wanted. The mistake was not pulling the skin back. So I do pull the skin back now. I believe this creates some slack and minimizes the stretching of the skin. I get a great feeling of it grasping the internals. However, I had that feel even when I didn’t pull skin back. I just think that the hanger moves forward slightly each session and it doesn’t take much to stretch skin.

Probably one of the greatest proofs to myself that hanging works, is that in the beginning, I barely had any options on where I could place the hanger. Now I can definitely move it back and forth. I am not big, but I can see the difference in just the options of where I attach the hanger.

I absolutely believe you should pull the skin back. Just the act of gravity pulling the hanger down and if the skin is forward of the hanger it is providing resistance.
